Each with their own story
An unfinished life that blooms beautifully

Author Yoon Tae-ho signed a contract to serialize “Misaeng” in 2009 and began serializing the webtoon in 2012.
The 12-year journey has finally come to an end.
The story of office workers, starting from the large corporation Won Inter and continuing to the small and medium-sized enterprise Ongil, concludes with volume 21.
Around the time Jang Geu-rae first joined the company as an intern, readers who had just started their careers had already become mid-career employees with over 10 years of experience.
Meanwhile, "Misaeng" has been making Korean office workers laugh and cry, consistently supporting and encouraging our unfinished lives.

As we approach the end of Misaeng, it is worth asking this question.
So, what does "Wansaeng" (完生) mean? In an interview included in Volume 21, the final volume, Master Yoo Chang-hyuk answered this question:
“Perfect life is impossible.
“Because people themselves are incomplete, they continue to dream of becoming complete.” He also said this.
“It’s the same thing as wanting to play good baduk or a famous game.
In the sense of something like a complete life.
… My opponent played the best and I played the best, but I played better and won, and even when I study and review it later, I realize that I couldn’t have played this well.
…If I just leave it to myself, a great country cannot emerge.
It's possible if we do it together.
“It’s meaningless if the other person makes a mistake.”

Volume 21 of “Misaeng” cheers us on as we move towards a perfect life.
By pursuing perfection, we can dream and live a better life.
But even without that, an unfinished life itself is beautiful enough.
To commemorate the completion of the book, the appendix was also faithfully made.
The commentary on the games played after move 216, the final move of the series, is included up to move 236, the final move.
