"Infected Animal" is a work that imagines the reality of a few years after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.
As the new avian influenza outbreak rekindles the sense of crisis that existed during the COVID-19 pandemic, government authorities lock down villages and cull infected animals.
The protagonist, Cho-rok, struggles to save his beloved dog, Choco, from culling, and in the process, he becomes one with animals and experiences resistance against humans as a human.
And as we look back on our own existence through the eyes of animals, we realize that humans are not free from the label of 'infected animals'.

This work unfolds a vast narrative that far exceeds the scope expected from a children's adventure narrative, and through it poses meaningful questions to the reader.
At the end of his long journey, Chorok is faced with a choice: he must choose between the red capsule that holds hope for animals and the red capsule that holds hope for humans.
