Korea's representative entertainment and educational program for the whole family to enjoy together [Naked World History]

tvN's [Naked World History] is Korea's representative 'storytelling world history' educational program.
It was born from the thought, "How can we safely enjoy traveling the world?" when times became difficult to travel freely.
We'll travel around the world "ontact" to see famous landmarks in each country, and unravel the world's history from various perspectives with experts in each field.
Because it is beneficial for both adults and children, it has become a popular program for the whole family to watch, and the professors' interesting lectures, which incorporate storytelling, have become a daily topic of conversation.
Through this program, the whole family can gather together to listen to a world history lecture, and we can discuss how our country and other countries came to be in their current state, and understand and discuss the lifestyles and values of countries we have never visited.

Why Children Should Learn World History

So, why should children study "world history"? Think of our favorite pieces of music or art.
People from different countries are increasingly consuming and passionate about the same culture.
In the future, we will interact and live together with more people from all over the world.
In these circumstances, children need to know world history so that they can adapt well to the wider world and pursue their dreams.

Children first encounter the subject of 'history' in middle school.
In the past, we studied Korean history first and then world history, but starting in the 21st school year, we will study world history first and then Korean history, with the goal of understanding Korean history in the context of world history.
If you learn about world history in elementary school, you can study history more easily in middle school.

If you know world history, Korean history also becomes more interesting.
Because our country's history is also connected to the great flow of world history.
If we look at the Treaty of Ganghwa and the Eulmi Incident, which we know of, only within the context of our history, we cannot fully understand the true nature of the events.
To understand the cause and effect of the incident, we must look into the relationship between China, Japan, and Russia at the time, as well as the economic situation of each country.
This way, we can learn from past events and avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Study world history to truly understand the world we live in and develop the strength to move it forward for the better.
