"Why is Mom Like That?" A Nine-Year-Old's Observation Report on His Mother
The image of his mother reflected in the eyes of nine-year-old Doyoon is sometimes cheerful and sometimes strange.
I like having a mom who is like a friend with whom I share similar interests, like we all like the same movies and that ice cream solves all my problems, but there are days when I get angry or upset because my mom scolds me.
On days like that, I raise my eyebrows and ask myself, 'Why is Mom like that?' but I also try my best to understand her.

Today's Transparent Diary

When I opened my eyes in the morning
It's not good when mom isn't home
There's something delicious
Even if I have some pocket money left, it's not much

But this means
You shouldn't do this to your mom
You can't even write it in a diary

Because I don't know if my mom will cry
Not in front of me
While taking the subway to work
I don't know how to hold it in and cry
