“There is only one thing you will lose by reading this book,
“It’s just a life of being dragged around now!”
*** The definitive edition of Goh Myung-hwan's lectures, listened to by 40,000 people every day ***

Myung-Hwan Ko, the greatest motivational speaker of our time, has recorded 1 million views in less than a day after uploading his videos, and over 40,000 subscribers listen to his lectures every day.
This was the question the author received most frequently when meeting tens of thousands of readers with his previous work, "This Book is About Making Money."
“So how did you find the answer in the book?”

"How I Find the Answer to Life" is a book filled with life lessons from an author who has achieved everything he wanted through books over the past 20 years.
How do I ask questions about my life, how do I read books and find answers, and how do I apply them to my life?

The ultimate goal we want to achieve through books is a 'life that is not dragged around.'
And the author has included a three-step life practice method of camel-lion-child to achieve the goal, along with specific book reading methods.
For those who are just starting to read (camel stage), we teach them the brain-trick reading method of fooling their brain for one minute in the morning. For those who are at the stage where they can choose the books they need on their own (lion stage), we teach them the 10-page reading method of reading only 10 pages of several books. For those who are just starting to live a free life (child stage), we teach them how to create a collection of 50 books to read over and over again.

Some people ask the author if what he says is not in another book.
The author answers that question as follows:
"right.
Everything I say is in the book.
I too read books and found answers in them.
So you too should read the book.”

Into the book
Maybe my friend has been living a life where he is only good at answering questions.
I was good at answering questions and became the top student in the whole school. I was good at answering questions and went to a prestigious university in Seoul. I was good at answering questions and got into a big company.
“How did my life end up like this?” I asked myself yesterday, as if I was talking to myself, was probably the first question I ever seriously asked myself.

It's different for everyone.
Don't compare yourself to others.
Other people don't care about you either.
Live freely at your own pace.
That way you won't get tired.
That way, every day will be happy.
This moment is hell because we are in a hurry.

Anyone who has ever fished knows that when moving from a boat to a different spot, some people take a break and drink coffee, while others check their fishing rods to make sure the line isn't damaged or that there are no knots that are wrong.
This small difference makes a huge difference when anglers encounter the big one, the truly big fish they dream of.
If you are prepared, you will get it, but if you are not, even if the fish bites the hook, the line will break and you will lose it.

Once you wake up in the morning, hold a book in your hand instead of your cell phone.
Next, let's stroke the book with our hands.
Touching the cover, opening the book and stroking the paper (tactile sensation).
Next, flip through the pages of the book and listen to the sound of the paper turning (auditory), and put your nose to the book and smell it (olfactory).

--- p.167

To put it simply, it means reading exactly 10 pages of one book every day.
You can't read more, and you can't read less.
You must read exactly 10 pages at a time.
But it's not just one book that you read like that.
Choose a number of books from 5 to 10 that best suits your reading ability and read exactly 10 pages of each book.
The number of volumes is not fixed.
I've even tried up to 30 volumes.
When I first started, there were 5 volumes, and then I gradually increased the number of volumes to 10, then 20.

I call this study my 'arsenal'.
When I stand in front of these books, I become a giant.
The whole universe is before me and every opportunity is within my grasp.
There is no fear or pain.
There is only my beautiful life.
Your own library that will become your weapon should be made up of about 10% of all books.
I have about 300 books stored here.
If you have 100 books, you can start with about 10.

Publisher's Review
“How did my life end up like this?”
A lecture with 1 million views in one day and 40,000 people listening every day
The one book that will change my life!

Last May, Go Myeong-hwan's video uploaded to YouTube's 'Human Story' surpassed 1 million views in less than a day, 2 million views in two days, and nearly 2,000 comments.
Not only that.
Over 40,000 subscribers listen to his 10-minute lectures posted daily and recite positive affirmations together for 1,000 days.
Why are people so crazy about Go Myung-hwan?
It is because of the sincerity and strength that his life shows, and the reading that became the basis for it.

"How I Find the Answer to Life" is a book filled with life lessons from author Myung-Hwan Ko, who has achieved everything he wanted through books over the past 20 years.
How I ask questions about my life, how I read books and find answers, and how I apply them to my life.
It covers everything from the usefulness of books and how they can change your life to specific methods for reading and asking questions, and what to do while searching for answers in books.

The question asked by a friend at the beginning of this book, “Myung-hwan, how did my life end up like this?” is not unique to him.
I was told to go to a good university, so I went to a good university and studied hard. I was told to go to a large company, so I went to a large company and worked hard. But in the end, all I was left with was a life of being dragged around.
Only when you know why you study, why you work, why you earn money, and why you live can you truly live a life that you control.
This is why we must live in a world of questions, not a world of answers, why we must read the books the author speaks of, and how to find answers in life.

“Read, ask questions, and wait.
“Things that seemed like they would never happen will unfold before my eyes.”
Learning the "Camel-Lion-Child" Three-Step Reading Method from Nietzsche

Go Myung-hwan is invited to a private lunch by the CEO of a major corporation, small business owners from all over the country visit his store, and he receives dozens of direct messages a day.
There is something people commonly wonder about him.
The question is, “So how did you find the answer in the book?”

For the author, who has consistently emphasized the importance of reading, "How I Find Answers to Life" is the definitive edition of Goh Myeong-hwan's reading method.
Based on the 'three changes of the mind' that Nietzsche mentioned in 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra', I combined my reading know-how to establish the 'three-stage reading method of camel-lion-child'.
From a camel that silently endures the given path and is pulled along, to a lion that forges its own path, to a child that roams freely without being bound by anything, it contains the mindset and specific reading methods required for each stage.

For those who are just starting to read (camel stage), we teach them the brain-trick reading method of fooling their brain for 1 minute in the morning. For those who can choose the books they need on their own (lion stage), we teach them the 10-page reading method of reading only 10 pages of several books. For those who have realized how to find answers (child stage), we teach them how to create a collection of 50 books to read over and over again.
Additionally, a list of recommended books to read step by step is included in the appendix.

“The hardest way is the easiest way.”
The only way to create a virtuous cycle in life is through reading and positive affirmations.

Everyone wants the easy and quick way.
But is easy really that good? Let's take exercise as an example.
Exercise is hard, but I do it.
Because we know that the easiest way to stay healthy is through exercise.
The same goes for running a restaurant.
It's convenient to buy and use broth.
But even though it's difficult, I boil the broth myself and use it.
Because I know that I can serve more delicious food to my customers if I cook it myself.

The author says, “The hardest way is also the easiest and fastest way.”
In that sense, reading is difficult, but it is the easiest path.
It may feel painful and difficult at first, but it is the path that will lead you to the most certain answer.
Additionally, reciting 'positive affirmations' every morning is also a good way to create a virtuous cycle in life.
Positive affirmations, written down and spoken out loud, allow your brain to scan itself as you speak, noticing what areas need more of it.
So, it helps you fill in your own shortcomings and get closer to your goal.

The author borrows poet Ban Chil-hwan's poem [New Year's First Miracle] to make a final point.
“The stork flew, the horse ran, the turtle walked, the snail crawled, and the caterpillar rolled, but all of them arrived at the first day of the new year.” Just as everyone reached their goal, even though it took them different amounts of time, anyone can reach their desired goal.
But don't compare yourself to others, don't be impatient, trust me and read consistently.
If Go Myung-hwan did it, you can do it too.
