Work never betrays
Description
Book Introduction
From a high school graduate working part-time at a PC cafe to receiving a job offer from Google with just one portfolio, The story after that 『Interactive Developer』 is back with a new look. What are the insights of designer Jongmin Kim, who joined Google with just one portfolio? This book is not a book that lectures you by saying, "Do this to be successful!" This book contains the author's thoughts and footsteps over the past decade, revealing how he, a high school graduate with no experience studying abroad, was able to grow into a recognized designer and engineer in New York and Silicon Valley. The author tells readers who wish to follow a similar path that the most important thing is 'what kind of person I grow into.' Let's take a look at his upgraded portfolio and driving force in life through this revised edition. |

Author's Note
“The most important thing I want to talk about is how to talk to your inner self.
I think success is 'what kind of person I grow into.'
“I have to constantly think about and practice what I like, what I want to do, and what kind of work I want to create.”
_From the text
“Work is not simply about making money and living, but it is truly about personal development.
I also think that defining what kind of person I am is an important part of life.
I always wanted to be a creator, and I dreamed of continuing to do my own work as I got older.
I wanted to tell my daughter and my readers about my serious attitude towards such things.
So, at the age of 24, I wrote about my experiences from working part-time at a PC room after graduating from high school to becoming a Google engineer 10 years later, and published it as a book.”
