Bible Reading Recipe
Description
Book Introduction
The best Bible reading textbook
52 delicious recipes from Dr. Cho Byung-ho!
The 66 books of the Bible are one book,
To the Cross, The Cross, From the Cross!!
The 66 books of the Bible are one book, the 39 books of the Old Testament are the story of heading to the cross, the four gospels are the story of the cross, and the book of Acts to the book of Revelation is the story of starting from the cross (From the Cross).
It is for this reason that the Apostle Paul declared, “I will know nothing but the cross.”
“For I decided not to know anything except Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2).
This is why we must read the 66 books of the Bible as a whole, not in parts.
"Bible Reading Recipe" is a 52-lesson Bible reading textbook by Dr. Cho Byeong-ho, which explains the entire Bible in chronological order, focusing on the cross, so that anyone can easily read it.
Dr. Cho Byeong-ho, a Bible reading expert and well-known author of 『The Bible and the Five Empires』, winner of the 2011 Korea Christian Publishing Culture Award, has published this textbook based on his extensive experience in reading the Bible.
After dividing the entire Bible into the Old Testament stories 'To the Cross: Recipe for the Cross', the New Testament stories 'The Cross: Recipe for the Gospel of the Cross', and 'From the Cross: Recipe for Starting with the Cross', the Bible was organized into seven comprehensive tracks from the perspectives of the kingdom of priests and the kingdom of God.
In particular, the entire Old Testament was rearranged in chronological order into a total of 31 lessons, the intertestamental history was divided into 4 lessons, and the entire New Testament was divided into 17 lessons.
To help you understand the Bible through reading, 『Bible Reading Recipe』 includes 'Time, Space, and Character Points' at the beginning of each lesson, 'Overall Points' which are key perspectives needed to understand the text, and 'Cross Gospel Recipe' which shows how each lesson is connected to the cross of Jesus Christ.
Additionally, each chapter presents the reading volume of the 『Large Print One-Year Reading Bible』, so that you can read the Bible text every day without missing a single one.
If you study the Bible in order in the "Bible Reading Recipe," you can organize the Bible from the basics on a solid basis.
In addition, it includes 9 'Overall Frames' that allow you to see the entire Bible at a glance, 'The Whole Bible Story in 10 Minutes' that allows all Christians to talk about the entire Bible in 10 minutes, 'Reading the Bible in Historical Order' that explains the need for reading the Bible in historical order, and 'Bible Reading Orientation' to help readers understand reading the Bible in its entirety.
The "Bible Reading Recipe," which helps you understand the contents of all 66 books of the Bible at a glance through 52 Bible studies, will enable Christians to confess that "the Bible is the standard for our faith and life," and will enable true Bible reading that will allow us to discover the new meaning and vitality that God gives to the words of the Bible through us today.
Good luck reading the Bible!!
