"The Girl Sniper" is also a novel based on history.
However, the author touched on the typical structure and development of historical novels and placed emphasis on the 'novel' aspect.
When you open the book, the story begins with "Prologue: The Fugitive," and unlike the familiar image of history, unfamiliar words are inserted to construct the novel.
It is supported by a fast-paced development and vivid scenes that come to mind.
The main character of the novel, Seol-ah, appears in the story in a hunting scene.
However, since it is his first time hunting, he is not used to it and struggles.
It is said that it was lucky to catch two rabbits when setting a trap to catch them.
Seol-ah is one of those children who seems extremely ordinary and lives a repetitive daily life.
But this kind of development has to be broken to be fun.
Seol-ah's grandfather dies as soon as the novel begins.
And if in mythology Pandora's box was opened, in The Girl Sniper the chest is opened.
