No matter what we do, the moment we deviate from our original intention, we tend to lose our 'essence'.
And the moment that essence is lost, ‘deterioration’ occurs quickly.
People and churches are both beings that change over time.
The author, observing the reality of the church gradually losing its essence, felt a sense of crisis that the Korean church and its believers might end up becoming museum churches that have lost their vitality.
This sense of crisis has grown even more as we see Bundang Woori Church showing signs of crisis in all areas of its ministry, especially after the movement to send out missionaries to Japan.


So, the author, with a sense of urgency, presented eight alternatives found in the Word to both the church and the congregation to overcome this crisis together.
If you become complacent with reality, the risk of change only increases.
As we are renewed as soldiers of Christ with a thirst for God, the church will become dynamic once again.

Rather than boasting about how many years we have believed in Jesus or what position we have held in the church, we should examine whether we are currently held by the love of Christ and by the words of Christ.
That should be our pride.
