Today, a new reason to live
Description
Book Introduction
The most basic of the basics of faith, justification by faith, is confirmed. When we renew that emotion, we can live a new day every day!! We are justified by faith in Jesus Christ. Justification by faith is the most important concept in the Christian faith, and it is a doctrine that must always be renewed. This is why the Apostle Paul repeatedly emphasizes justification by faith in the Book of Romans. We have been justified by the sheer grace of God and our existence has changed. We, who were under the rule of sin and death, have become beings under the rule of righteousness and life. As our existence and affiliation change, our lives and living inevitably change as well. If we truly realize that this tremendous change has come about not through our actions, sacrifices, or any payment of the law, but only through faith in the grace of Jesus' cross, we cannot help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for that grace. If you have forgotten this thrill, let's renew it. When your excitement for the gospel is renewed, you will live with new grace every day. This book is the third book in the 'Anangelo Books' series that deals with the book of Romans, and deals with justification by faith and the fruits of life that come from justification by faith. |

Into the book
If I were to summarize the fall of Adam and Eve in Genesis in one word, I would say it was 'an attempt to declare independence from God.'
Any attempt to become independent from God is a fall.
The core of Satan's attack in Genesis also starts here.
--- p.13
If the core of the human fall described in Genesis is freedom from God's intervention and independence from Him, then what level of "faith" is the faith God seeks to restore through Romans? This is faith: restoring lost trust in God.
--- p.14
Why would God make such a difficult request to Abraham—to leave behind the familiar and the places he had relied on—and then make such a difficult promise? The answer is simple.
God is now asking Abraham to have ‘faith,’ which is ‘faith in the very existence of God.’
--- p.15
I don't think Abraham was happy after suffering all his life and then having his son Isaac at the age of one hundred, in response to God's call.
I think Abraham was happy from the time he was seventy-five years old when he received God's vision.
Faith that leads to vision is because we see the dream without looking at the circumstances.
The strength to endure even in situations where one cannot help but despair is due to the hope that does not disappear even in such situations.
We must remember that hope is rooted in faith.
--- p.49
Let us remember that the gospel has enabled us to live a life of joy and happiness.
God has made us live joyful lives, not broken by any situation or circumstance.
Let us remember that by faith we have been justified and have peace with God, and we rejoice in the hope of his glory.
A gospel that cannot be enjoyed is not a gospel.
--- p.61
Our greatest challenge is to be happy in the Lord.
Because we cannot find happiness in the Lord, we keep seeking happiness outside of the Lord.
Happiness outside of the Lord is a derailment.
It's crossed the line.
We must find joy in the Lord.
No matter how hard Satan tries to steal our joy, it can never be taken away. Isn't this spiritual warfare? May we receive the grace to realize the Lord's wish, "Your joy will be complete," in our lives.
--- p.72
God is the one who carries out things according to God's plan.
You can't miss this trend.
No matter how the dog barks, God carries out His work of salvation in His sovereignty and according to His timing.
--- p.107
Heaven is not a place of abundance where there is no lack, so we should long for it, but rather a place to long for because the Lord is there.
Heaven is a happy place because it is a place where all rejoice is in Jehovah.
And today, the place where we live with Jesus Christ is heaven.
--- p.129
If left alone, this situation could lead to feelings of inferiority due to my smallness, but grace instead transforms my weakness into a will to live.
'God, I find that there are still so many things I lack.
I pray, 'God, who has worked so hard despite my many shortcomings, I will respond to your grace and fill in my weaknesses.'

Publisher's Review
Our master has changed
Now live in grace, not in sin and death!
The power of sin and death no longer has dominion over us.
Sin and death no longer have dominion.
Our new master is Jesus Christ.
If Jesus Christ, who claims righteousness and life and leads us on the path of life, has become the Lord of my life and exerts influence over it, shouldn't we, as those ruled by Jesus, allow the grace He bestows to influence our lives? The Psalms often proclaim to themselves, "O my soul."
So I declared to myself like that.
Pastor, let grace rule your life.
Let grace influence your life. Who rules your life now? Who has the decisive influence on your life? Let go of the slave mentality of sin.
Don't follow the old master.
Today, we can live a new life under the influence of grace.
