God, how should I write this?
Description
Book Introduction
In the age of the spirit, where is your soul headed?
Are you managing your money under God's sovereignty?

Kenyan missionary Pastor Im Eun-mi tells us
Manage your finances according to God's will!

In this age of the spirit of wealth, investing is all about gathering and gathering even the soul.
Are Christians an exception?
It may seem obvious in modern society, but it's not easy for Christians to talk about money and finances.
We know the answer, but we can't put it into practice. When we try to put it into practice, the immediate challenges ahead overwhelm us.
This book is Pastor Im Eun-mi's response to this concern.

Epilogue My satisfaction comes only from God!

Into the book
This book is not a testimony about how God can make me financially wealthy.
This is an experience of how God's people can be freed from Mammon, the god of this world, and use the finances God has given them freely according to God's will.
It can be said to be a letter written to all saints who wish to become a channel for spreading God's love on this earth.

---From the "Prologue"

I need to look at what I spend my money on and in what areas.
Besides the tithe offering envelope, is there another tithe envelope to help others? Is there another envelope to use to bring joy to God's children? God, who looks not at the amount of money filling the envelope, but at the heart of our hearts, will fill our hearts with joy.

--- p.38

It is the law that trainees must listen carefully to their instructors.
The Lord says that missionaries must learn to be self-sufficient.
To listen carefully to the word of God, who personally trains us financially, prayer, which is a channel of communication, is essential.
When we think of prayer, we usually think of asking God for various things.
To win the spiritual war against Mammon, you must hold in your hand the weapon called ‘prayer against the enemy.’
This is because we must overcome all worries about money and the various negative emotions that may arise from money through prayer.

--- p.49

The third powerful weapon is trust in the Lord.
We do not know the future, but we can know by faith that the Lord will provide for all our needs.
This simple faith not only pleases God, but also gives us great strength.
The secret to being able to control money without being overwhelmed or swayed by the power of money, symbolized by Mammon, is to equip yourself with the weapons given by the Lord through a series of training courses.

--- p.64

That day, I learned the misery of those who had to return empty-handed.
From then on, I worked harder for my poor neighbors, and when I had nothing to give, I would just hold their hands and pray for them.
It is to send the warmth of prayer in one's hand.
So that Mammon does not sneak into and take over the empty hearts of God's people.

--- p.75~76

After giving more than 10 trillion, the benefit I got was not 30, 60, or 100 times the interest, but rather the amount of freedom I had.
That means that as the days go by, the things we “want” decrease.
Since I don't have anything in particular that I want, my life has become simple.
By doing so, he became no different from someone who had everything in the world.
As soon as I had income, I gave it away with a happy heart, and there was nothing in the world I wanted.
Could there be a more liberating and enriching feeling? It's like receiving a blank check from God.
--- p.93~94

How, how, and when should I use the financial resources you've granted me? While receiving financial resources is important and something to be thankful for, I believe it's even more crucial to know how to use them.
I pray for wisdom to use the finances the Lord has given me well in His time, in His way, and for the ministry that pleases Him most!
--- p.107

But is there anyone who doesn't feel sorry about spending their own money on others? If someone says they don't feel sorry, they must have trained themselves to reach that level. To determine whether you're truly living a life of mastery over money, rather than one obsessed with it, simply examine how you use your money for the benefit of others.
The measure is gratitude.

--- p.111

To experience God's goodness, two requirements must be met.
In other words, you must become a “good person” and a “person with an honest heart.”
Whenever money comes into my country, big or small, I send it out through the country's channels.
What matters is whether you know how to use money well and its true value.
Just as earning money is about spending it wisely, we must remember that having sound financial values also glorifies God.

--- p.150

I pray that each and every person who reads this will ask, “God, how should I spend this money you have given me?”
The Lord knows that this question we ask God is a confession from our hearts: “God, how can I please You with these finances?”
We hope that God will answer our prayers.
As we close this book, I pray that God will give each and every one of us who asks this question the most appropriate answer, and that this will be a time for us to learn concretely from the Lord as we live out the truth that everything we have comes from Him.
---From the "Epilogue"

Publisher's Review
God doesn't want us to be tied to money.
God wants us to live by managing our money.

The author wakes up at 4 a.m. to meditate and shares his meditations daily through online channels and social media.
Even before the advent of the contactless era, we have been actively conducting meditation sharing, and a significant portion of it is about finances.
As a missionary dispatched to Kenya by the Yoido Full Gospel Church, the author actively carries out missionary work through the continuous support of individual donors every month, as well as offerings from believers who carry out God's errands through various channels.
The author confesses every day, “I hope our Lord is happy to see me today.”
That confession also applies to the financial sector.
Even though we pray to God about our financial problems, once the problem is solved, we fall into the sin of seeking our own benefit instead of surrendering it to God.
So the author says that without knowing and controlling Mammon, it is impossible to live a life where no matter how much money God provides, we spend it for the kingdom of God.

Among the many ways modern Christians meet God,
Financial training is essential discipleship training.

The author immigrated to the United States when he was in high school, but poverty was familiar to him as a child.
It contains honest stories of times of poverty that anyone can experience, missionary work hindered by lack of money, and experiences of God's abundance due to financial difficulties.
Through marriage, the tithe life expanded to tithe and thirteen, and the ministries that seemed to need continued support and assistance in the mission field made me constantly check the principles and standards of finance.

I learned that it is God's providence that finances should not only be used honestly, but also be channeled well into the channels through which God works.
The author's explanation that financial principles become principles of life and habits of faith leads to a decision to use finances as a conduit for the expansion of God's kingdom.
The author's conclusion, that we must move toward evangelism and the kingdom of God, is persuasive.
Each chapter contains a summary of the know-how and a prayer for it, written with the mindset of keeping a household account book before God. This will be of practical help to believers praying about financial matters, business owners, and those who wish to experience God's presence in the specific settings of their homes and churches.
