The formula for passing any exam!
"Add motivation, subtract distractions, multiply time, and divide plans."

Complex study methods are simplified into simple arithmetic formulas!

The author experienced many 'passes' faster than others.
Passed Konkuk University on the first CSAT taken at age 15, and passed Yonsei University on the second CSAT taken at age 16.
And because I dropped out of middle school and chose homeschooling during the process of entering college, I passed the middle school equivalency exam and the high school equivalency exam.

The author studied alone, compressing the six years of middle and high school education without attending a private academy or school, and realized that there is a certain rule to passing the exam.
Just starting to study doesn't mean you'll succeed. You need to have a clear 'motivation' within you, invest your 'time' in areas that are most efficient, and make an effort to eliminate 'wandering thoughts' and reduce mistakes to ensure you capture the energy you're losing.
Also, in the process of running towards a big goal, you must make small 'plans' and accumulate daily success experiences.
As the data on the exam accumulated, this law was formalized and organized into the 'passing formula' and included in this book.

The formula for passing is simple.
“Add motivation (+), subtract distracting thoughts (-), multiply time (×), and divide plans (÷)!” And he incorporated his own vivid experiences and know-how into this formula.
We will generously reveal the '3x Speed Study Method' that compresses 6 years of study into just 1 year and 10 months, including experiences of 'studying outside of school' such as the process of dropping out of middle school, the principles of homeschooling, overseas volunteer work, and study exploration, as well as the 16:2:6 time management method, speed study method, key points for each subject, and strategic three-color note-taking method!

Into the book
The first reason I study is because 'studying is the easiest way to prove myself to the world.'
Studying is a way to show, without further explanation, how hard I can work and how prepared I am to live life to the fullest.
…If you have an experience of studying like crazy and achieving remarkable results during your school days, that experience will serve as a great support for you later in life.

---From "Why on earth should we study?"

Problems that I couldn't solve even after struggling for hours in the past are now solved in a matter of minutes, and my mock exam scores, which had been stagnant, are now gradually on an upward curve.
So, I poured a year into studying like crazy, and finally, in November 2018, unlike a year ago when I was feeling uneasy and anxious, I was able to take the CSAT with the mindset that 'I am now prepared.'
The results were also much better than the previous year, and the sense of pride and satisfaction was much greater.
'Korean·Math·Foreign Language·Exploration 1·1·1·1.5!' I received a grade 1 in Korean, Math, and English, and unfortunately, I missed just one of the two subjects in Social Studies, so I received a grade 1 in one and a grade 2 in the other.
I successfully completed the entrance exam with good grades as a result of my hard work, and as a result, after about 1 year and 10 months of hard work, I was able to perfectly achieve my desired goal.

---From "Two College Scholastic Ability Tests: Surefire Know-How"

Let's think about cooking as an example.
Will a novice chef with no prior knowledge of the subject simply enroll in the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu culinary school and "attend" classes taught by world-renowned chefs, resulting in a dramatic improvement in their culinary skills? No.
Only by organizing what you learned in culinary school, constantly studying recipes, and repeating the same dish dozens of times will your cooking skills truly improve.

To achieve a great taste, you have to taste it yourself and say, "Oh, this isn't the taste?" and try adding dozens of different seasonings. You have to practice several times to get used to the taste by adding just enough "a pinch of salt" to get the most delicious taste. You have to cut your hand with a knife to make the plating look pretty. This is how your cooking skills will gradually improve.
Studying is the same.
When you don't just study what someone else tells you to study, but rather go through trial and error and try various things to improve your weaknesses, that's when your skills improve.
---From "Studying alone is real studying"

It is no exaggeration to say that studying is the only field where the input and output are almost identical, and where I honestly get back the amount of time I invested.
However, investing time does not guarantee victory in the battle against studying.
Time must be used wisely and wisely, where it is most needed and where it is most efficient.
This is because you have to compete to reach the target point within a limited time.
---From "Pass Formula 2"

While it's important to maximize your concentration and solve problems quickly when taking a test, it's often equally important to minimize mistakes and errors.
To reduce minor mistakes and errors, you should prepare two areas perfectly before taking the test.
One is the technical realm, and the other is the external realm.
Setting up the technical realm means honing the skills that are fully inherent within me, and setting up the external realm means setting up the physical external environment to be optimized for my body.
---From "Pass Formula 3"

Publisher's Review
“It can’t get any faster or more certain than this!”
Overwhelmingly efficient in terms of time, the 3x faster study method

The author, a middle school dropout, resolved to take the "early CSAT," passed the middle school and high school qualification exams, and achieved his goal in just 10 months! While accepted into Konkuk University, he was disappointed by his failure to achieve his goal, so he took a year off to retake the exam. A year later, he was accepted to Yonsei University as the youngest student of the year, proudly becoming a freshman under the age of 18.

How did the author achieve this so quickly, a feat that would be difficult to achieve even after completing six years of middle and high school?
Simply put, it is a victory in the competition of 'time efficiency'.
Time is given equally to everyone, and there are tens of thousands of paths to reach your goal.
Among them, those who quickly and accurately attack the target point and seize the opportunity to win drive diligently at a constant speed, but when the opportunity comes, they do not miss it and take the passing lane to cut through the road!
The author, who studied alone without attending academies or schools and gradually accumulated data on 'hon-gong', never handed over the initiative in studying to others, and was able to quickly increase the speed when he wanted.
The author draws the line that studying that is led by others, such as attending academy classes, taking online lectures, or receiving private tutoring, cannot be considered true studying in the strict sense.
This book contains the most efficient time management method, which I discovered through thorough self-study time, the overwhelmingly efficient speed study method, key points for each subject, and techniques for solving past exam questions, as well as other secrets that will guide you to a "shortcut to studying."

Why did you take a 'shortcut' at such a young age?
A new perspective on the 'purpose' and 'value' of study

So, why did the author endure such a harsh study process alone at such a ‘young age’?
“I wanted to quickly overcome the socially agreed-upon hurdles,” is the author’s answer to this question.
If we think of life as one long race, we can say that the current Republic of Korea has set up social hurdles along the way.
Although there is no official standard and it cannot be said that this standard is right for everyone, the current reality is that there are hurdles set by implicit social standards, such as entering college at the age of 20 or getting a job after graduating from college.

Of course, it is a personal choice as to when and how to overcome these hurdles, or whether or not to overcome them. However, the author wanted to overcome these hurdles faster than others and plan his life with a more relaxed mindset in the future.
I figured that if I could quickly get over the first hurdle, I would have more time and mental leeway to get over the next hurdle.

It also provides a new perspective on the purpose, reason, motivation, and value of studying.
Everyone has to overcome the mountains of life and move forward, and the way to overcome these mountains easily and quickly is through 'study'.
If you climb the first mountain quickly and efficiently through study, you will gain the confidence and motivation to overcome the next mountain based on that experience of success.
Of course, there are ways to get through it without studying, but if you have to take a difficult detour from a trail that should be accessible, you will inevitably lose both your stamina and confidence.

The author emphasizes that the process of forming an 'inner support' that allows one to easily climb any mountain of any height and size is none other than study.
If you've always viewed studying as a means to achieve social goals like "entrance exams" and "employment," this book will be the catalyst for changing your perspective on studying.

The proof is in! Living witness to "book-based parenting."
The first book in Korea written by the daughter of a parenting book author

The author is also the daughter of author Kim Seon-mi, the 'godmother of book parenting' who wrote 'Bad Parenting', 'Military Parenting', and 'Eighteen Years of Book Parenting'.
True to her mother's philosophy of "book parenting," she has personally embodied a life of "reading the mind" with books instead of various media, and "reading the body" through outdoor activities! Furthermore, the homeschooling the author decided on and implemented began with her mother's suggestion, hoping to avoid being bound by the framework of public education. Therefore, the process and results have drawn even greater attention from parents and students.
As this is the first book in Korea written by the daughter of a parenting book author, its value goes beyond simple study methods and college entrance exam success stories.
In a world where private education is rampant, this proves a unique parenting philosophy, making it even more meaningful and valuable.
