Publisher's Review
"I hope the Korean Advanced Life Support Training Program can save precious lives."

The Korean Advanced Life Support Division of the Korean Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Association has been dedicated to developing a high-quality educational program through continuous efforts and various attempts since 2009 with the goal of ‘developing an advanced life support education program that is scientific, immediately applicable to clinical practice, and reflects the Korean environment.’
Accordingly, many hospitals and educational institutions in Korea are operating Korean Advanced Life Support (KAL) training courses for a large number of medical staff and students, and their effectiveness and importance are recognized.

The 4th edition of Korean Advanced Resuscitation (ACPR) is a newly written educational resource that references the 2020 revised Korean CPR Guidelines and the American Heart Association and European Resuscitation Committee guidelines. We have done our best to explain the essential information needed in clinical settings in an easy-to-understand manner.
We are particularly proud of the high quality of the content, as many of the authors who participated in the writing also participated in the revision of the 2020 Korean Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Guidelines.

I believe that we were able to achieve today's great achievements thanks to the authors who spent a lot of time with us writing the booklet and all the instructors who have worked hard to develop Korean advanced life support education. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to the executives of the Korean Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Association, including Chairman Hwang Seong-o and Secretary General Jeong Seong-pil, for their constant interest and encouragement.
