2000km anti-Japanese road
2000km anti-Japanese road
Description
Book Introduction
Traces of anti-Japanese sentiment encountered during a trip to Japan
A Field Trip to 50 Historical Sites in 10 Cities

Reporter Kim Jong-hoon, who practices 'history experienced on the spot,' invites readers to the Anti-Japanese Road to commemorate the 80th anniversary of liberation.
"The 2000km Anti-Japanese Road" is a record of time and a historical journey that crosses the Japanese archipelago, standing before the last traces of independence fighters and remembering them, and commemorating the nameless people who died from forced mobilization, the Great Kanto Earthquake, and the atomic bomb.
From Nagasaki Prison, where Baek Jeong-gi of the Black Terror Corps was martyred and Kim Ik-sang of the Uiyoldan Corps was imprisoned for 15 years, to Kanazawa Castle, where Yun Bong-gil is buried, to the Tokyo boarding house where Yun Dong-ju wrote his last poems, the travel space encounters anew within historical time.
The author proposes a journey of remembrance for tomorrow, unfurling the Taegeukgi and offering a drink in front of the memorial to the nameless and forgotten people at the site where independence fighters died.
This is a journey you can take alone, with family or friends, or in a group.
Let's climb the anti-Japanese road at least once in our lives!
