Every little corner of the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty,
Let's take a look at the daily lives of our ancestors during the Joseon Dynasty.

『Joseon Dynasty Real Talk』 is a historical educational comic series that reconstructs Joseon history in chronological order. Volume 1 deals with the 'founding family' (Taejo, Jeongjong, Taejong) who founded Joseon, the 'wise king family' (Sejong, Munjong, Danjong) who laid the foundation for the Joseon Dynasty, and the 'tyrant family' (Sejo, Yejong, Seongjong, Yeonsangun) who usurped the throne through a coup. Volume 2 contains the 'purge family' (Jungjong, Injong, Myeongjong) who were the main characters of rebellions and purges, and the 'war family' (Seonjo, Gwanghaegun) who were the main characters of the Imjin War.
Next, we will discuss the 'Hwaran families' who experienced two Manchu invasions, but let's take a break from the stories of kings and subjects who influenced the course of history and focus on the stories of the people who bore the flesh and blood of Joseon Dynasty history.

Volume 3, “Joseon Baekseong Siltok,” contains stories about the daily lives of the Joseon people that can be found throughout the “Annals of the Joseon Dynasty.”
Did Joseon Dynasty people, like today, commute to work and grapple with interpersonal relationships? What did they wear, what did they eat, and what did they learn in school? What games did they play during holidays, and what were the trends of the time? Daily life, which seemed natural to ancient people, seems strange and fascinating to us, hundreds of years later, piques our interest in history.
