Into the book
You'll soon find out where your cloud falls among the ten major clouds.
Each cloud has its own specialness.
Each of us has our own favorite place to stay in the sky.
They also have cool Latin or Chinese character names.
Now what will your cloud grow to be?
--- p.5

The hairy clouds are shy, introverted, and quiet clouds.
That's okay though.
There's no way there's only smart, flashy clouds that like to pop.
This layer of ice crystals, high in the sky, doesn't even look like clouds.
It's just that the blue sky has become a little whiter.
It's not a noisy cloud, but it's still a cloud.

--- p.22

The Ssambi Cloud is the rock star of the cloud world.
If you are a little cloud who wants to surprise the world, you and I all dream of becoming a Seonbi Cloud.
The sweltering clouds are the tallest of all clouds and produce a lot of rain.
Sometimes it rains hail, and sometimes it shows off lightning and thunder.

--- p.26

Cheon Jeong-ho is like the smile of the sky.
It appears high up in the sky when the sun is low in the sky.
So most people have probably never seen it.
Unless you're a cloud watcher, you rarely think about looking straight up at the sky.

--- p.75

Venus has the hottest surface of any planet in the solar system because of its dense atmosphere that traps solar heat.
Venus is covered in thick yellow clouds made of sulfuric acid droplets.
Isn't it cool?
--- p.88

One thing is clear.
The sky is always changing.
So your clouds will come back too.
But next time, I will come back in a different form.
Because every cloud is unique in the world.
--- p.92

★ UK Amazon Bestseller! #1 Most Gifted Book (Meteorology) ★
★ Royal Society Book Award Winner ★ Bologna Ragazzi Award Winner ★

Every cloud is unique in the world, and each cloud has its own special quality.
Every day, they are created and disappear above our heads, sometimes with magnificent and sometimes with fleeting beauty.
From the layered clouds that cover the low sky to the feathery clouds that float lightly in the high sky, to the roll clouds, flag clouds, and tornadoes, clouds come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
What kind of cloud did you see today?

A beautiful book, "A Picture Book for Cloud Watchers," has been published, a new gift for cloud watchers around the world who are fascinated by cloud appreciation.
This is a new book by Gavin Pretterfinni, who founded the 'Cloud Appreciation Society' and has consistently loved clouds. It is an emotional guide for beginner cloud observers who want to start appreciating clouds.
Learn the wonderful names of clouds, marvel at how clouds and sunlight interact, and even see clouds on other planets beyond Earth.
As soon as it was published, it became a comprehensive bestseller on Amazon UK and was also ranked as the most gifted book (in the meteorology category).
From children to adults, from novice cloud watchers to cloud nerds, anyone who loves clouds will find this book enjoyable and treasured.

William Grill, the illustrator, is a renowned British illustrator who has won the Kate Greenaway Medal (the youngest winner ever) and the Bologna Ragazzi Award.
Known for his uniquely delicate colored pencil drawings, he has captured the beauty and mystery of clouds in this book through cool, lyrical drawings with a wide field of view.
The specially designed Korean edition cover features a refreshing scene of familiar landmarks, the N Seoul Tower in Namsan Mountain, and fluffy clouds floating over the Han River.

A poetic and delicate picture book that captures the special life of clouds.

This book covers the ten main types of clouds, from the rock star of the cloud world, the angry and violent squalls, the shy and introverted wispy ...
We also look at various rainbow types, such as supernumerary rainbows that appear when raindrops are small, fog rainbows called ghost rainbows, and reflected rainbows with an odd angle, as well as zenith rainbows that look like a smile in the sky and horizontal rainbows that can only be seen in midsummer.

The last page includes a "Glossary for Cloud Observers," which provides an overview of the 56 clouds and optical effects featured in the book.
However, this is not a book that simply provides information about clouds.
The text and illustrations that subtly capture the special life of clouds, which are created, disappear, and then created again, make us feel that the authors of this book are people who truly love clouds and know how to observe them.
And the special message that only a person with such eyes can convey brings warm comfort and emotion to the heart.

“One thing is clear.
The sky is always changing.
So your clouds will come back too.
But next time, I will come back in a different form.
Because every cloud is unique in the world.
If you see something special in the clouds, pay attention.
Don't miss it.
Because no two clouds are exactly alike.
“You might be the only one who found that cloud.”

Come to the world of cloud appreciation

Gavin Pretterfinni's obsession with clouds is infectious, having been fascinated by them since childhood and spent his life observing them, understanding their phenomena, and sharing their wonders.
His first book, "A Guide for Cloud Watchers," sold over 200,000 copies in the UK alone, becoming a sensation, and his follow-up, "A Cloud Every Day," also received much attention in Korea, making the Cloud Watchers' Association (with over 50,000 members in 120 countries around the world) known.

Fueled by this interest, the Seoul Cultural Depot will host the "Guide for Cloud Observers" exhibition and forum for the second time this summer, following last year's.
In particular, Gavin Pretterfinney will visit Korea for this event to give a lecture on how to identify the various shapes of clouds and meet with Korean readers.
This picture book for novice cloud watchers will inspire anyone, adult or child, to embrace the simple, leisurely, and sublime activity of "cloud appreciation," filling our curious minds with a sense of wonder that will last a lifetime.
