A new believer asks
Description
Book Introduction
For new believers taking their first steps in faith
A Guide to Core Christian Truths
They say that these days it is difficult to evangelize.
In an age of atheistic humanism, skepticism, and heretical cults, where the study of doctrine is considered boring…
It's a time when even the closest of friends are hesitant to bring up religious topics.
But there is something we must not forget.
The point is that everyone is curious about the ‘truth’.
This book contains the core of Christian truths that the author has compiled through conversations with numerous non-believers and believers during his ministry.
It sharply addresses the seven questions that new believers might be curious about: “Why God?”, “Why humans?”, “Why Jesus?”, “Why faith?”, “Why church?”, “Why the Bible?”, and “Why the Holy Spirit?”
The author is not afraid of questions from new believers.
We teach the truth of Christianity, but we approach people with love, taking into account their circumstances and inner problems.
This book, which will lead many to the truth of Christianity, will be of great help to new believers taking their first steps in faith, as well as to those who wish to re-establish their grasp of the essence of the gospel.

Into the book
Humans live in time and desire eternity; they are finite beings but have infinite longings; and they are relative beings but crave absoluteness.
Even though we stand on the ground, we are beings who must look up to the sky to breathe, living a comparative life but always dreaming of the best.
Why do humans have this longing? It is because humans were created in the image of God.
God works in our shortcomings.
When we are hungry and thirsty, He feeds us with His abundance and fills us with His goodness.
So, paradoxically, humans experience grace in their lack and encounter the eternal God in their limitations.
Isn't this the grace of reversal?
--- From "Why God?"
The gospel of Jesus' cross cannot be seen as exclusive.
The gospel is God's loving hand and offer that embraces all people.
There is no discrimination there.
But isn't God a personal being, not a mechanical being?
Heaven is not a place you go to by buying a ticket, but rather a place you go to your Father's house.
And those who enter the Father's house are, of course, children who confess God as their Father through Jesus.
--- From "Why Jesus?"
The church must not only be rational and democratic, but must also follow the inspiration and vision of the Holy Spirit.
Because the church is a community conceived through the gospel of Jesus and born through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, the church comes to life fully only when it is filled with the gospel and the Holy Spirit.
And only then can the church complete the project of saving humanity.
The church should not be a party of its own, but an open community that, guided by the Holy Spirit, shares God's love and Jesus' salvation with our families, neighbors, and the whole world.
--- From "Why Church?"
God's word has the power to heal us.
When I stand before the mirror of the Word, all the wounds, pain, lies, and dysfunction within me are revealed.
Satan attacks us by exposing our weaknesses, but God exposes our shortcomings and heals us.
Therefore, it is not a fearful thing but a grateful thing to expose the bare face of our souls and stand on the operating table of the Word.
Now, through the words of the Bible, we not only receive the gospel that gives eternal life, but also the medicine of the word that heals the wounds of the past, calms today's anxiety, and turns tomorrow's fears into hope.
Trust in God, who knows you better than you know yourself, diagnoses you accurately, and heals your soul. Enter the garden of His Word and experience the natural healing of your soul.
--- From "Why the Bible?"
The Holy Spirit is the one who guides us into the truth of God and makes us confess God as our Father and Jesus as our Savior, so he guides us so that we do not stray into any other false path.
Today, secularism and false heretical cults are rampant.
The 21st century has become an era in which all kinds of syncretic religions and new religions are rampant, and extreme humanism and atheism are active.
All the more so, we must live with spiritual discernment under the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.
