Publisher's Review
preface

This textbook is a pre-organized set of notes to be covered in the class of Attorney Jeong Yeon-seok's 『2025 [Prehistory] Integrated Basic Civil Law Lecture (hereinafter referred to as 'Prehistory Civil Law Lecture')』, which will be held at Megaroyers Sinchon Campus on April 28, 2025.
Following last year, this year, we have also prepared the class content in advance using a pre-production method and used it as supplementary teaching materials for the class.

In particular, for this year's 2025 edition, Attorney Jeong Yeon-seok personally corrected and supplemented the existing note-taking file with a pencil.
Accordingly, ① the content accuracy of this material has been significantly improved, and ② all notes from existing and recent case law that required illustrations have been added, greatly improving the overall quality of the textbook.
I believe that you will be able to understand the intent of this year's revisions to some extent, as the handwriting in the revised and added parts by Attorney Jeong is different from the original handwriting.

In addition, the page display has been revised one by one based on the 8th edition of the "Law School Civil Law Standards" for 2025.

In the case of this book, ① first of all, some of the notes will be directly reviewed and covered in class during the prehistoric civil law lecture (this year, it seems that it will be utilized more due to the above-mentioned textbook improvements), and ② the remaining parts that are not reviewed in class will also serve to greatly reduce the burden of note-taking on students in relation to the instructor's notes during class.

Accordingly, ① instructors will be able to streamline their classes and cover more content and explanations in less time, and ② students will be able to focus solely on listening to, understanding, and organizing the ‘content’ of the class rather than taking notes during class.
The great effectiveness of these handwritten notes has been well-proven among students every year.

This book does not contain all the content covered in the prehistoric civil law lectures, and it is not an independent study material.
In other words, we would like to make it clear that this book is merely a textbook that can be used effectively by those who have attended or will attend Attorney Jeong Yeon-seok's lectures.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Assistant Professors Hong Da-kyung and Kim Ga-hyeon, who demonstrated their exceptional talents in the production of this book. We are confident that this book will be a highly useful textbook for law students attending and studying Attorney Jeong Yeon-seok's lectures.
