Book Introduction
The author has composed this book in two major ways that make it different from previous books.
One of them is that, unlike other existing books, this book does not separate the history and philosophy of education, but rather is structured to allow for a simultaneous look at philosophy and history by era.
Thus, we broadly divided education into Korean education and Western education, and first examined the philosophical ideas that formed the ideological foundation of education in each era, and then described the content of education and its development process.
Another point is that, unlike most other books to date, the focus of this book's content is not on explaining academic concepts, theories, or facts, but rather on the overall flow and context to help readers understand.
So, rather than simply describing the content of a systematically organized knowledge system in a dry and stiff style to obtain philosophical and historical knowledge of education, it was written in a storytelling style as if conveying a philosophical and historical story about education to help readers understand it more easily.
