『Dental Materials Science』 has been undergoing steady revision since its first edition was published in February 2000.
The revised 6th edition published this time has added photos to help dental technology students easily approach dental technology materials without finding it difficult, and graphs have been converted into diagrams to improve readability.
In particular, all schematic drawings have been replaced with color to make it feel much smoother and more familiar visually, and materials used in international standards (ISO) and CAD/CAM have been added.
As a college textbook, it was edited with a focus on the learning objectives of the Department of Dental Technology so that students can acquire the characteristics and basic theories of dental materials used in dental technology.
