Theory and Practice of Educating Students with Visual Impairments
Theory and Practice of Educating Students with Visual Impairments
Description
Book Introduction
Rather than simply translating foreign materials, this book was reconstructed to suit the Korean context, and was designed to cultivate the ability of prospective special education teachers to actually utilize the diagnostic and evaluation tools for visually impaired students, textbooks, alternative materials, and teaching aids developed and distributed by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Special Education.

This second revised edition has adapted the content of each chapter to the undergraduate level and supplemented it with the latest theories and practices.
In particular, it reflects the revised special education curriculum and special education law of 2022, details the growing field of cerebral visual impairment both domestically and internationally, and adds teaching methods and strategies that are effective for students with visual impairment.
And, ‘Chapter 15 Integrated Education’ was moved to another chapter and written.
