Publisher's Review
Translator's Preface
As a trainer and fitness educator for over 20 years, the translator has personally experienced and observed the changes and developments in the domestic fitness industry.
It's no exaggeration to say that the introduction of NASM marked a turning point for change. NASM was first introduced in Korea in 2008.
Since then, NASM has become widely known not only to trainers engaged in fitness, but also to professional athletes and the general public interested in global exercise trends.
I think this phenomenon is because NASM sufficiently proves the importance and necessity of functional training.
The translator has participated in the NASM headquarters curriculum countless times to learn and research practical skills, scientific techniques, and numerous specific application methods for NASM training.
This seventh edition of NASM Personal Fitness Training is incredibly exciting, bringing the essential, practical content up to date and adding and fleshing out cutting-edge training theories and techniques that haven't been fully covered in recent years.
This seventh edition includes increasingly important nutrition topics, psychological methodologies for communicating with clients, and more systematic body assessment and training methods.
In addition, it contains NASM's scientific program, design theory, philosophy, and the attitude and mindset that a professional should have.
In both quantity and quality, the 7th edition is a masterpiece of personal training textbooks, significantly expanding its content and solidifying its theories, taking the NASM training system to the next level. I have no doubt that NASM will contribute significantly to the further advancement of Korean fitness.
As with everything else, the fitness industry is also seeing a surge in new theories and knowledge every day.
Those of you reading this introduction now have probably chosen this book to gain objective and verified knowledge.
The translator has been more passionate than anyone else about participating in the world's best training and seminars every year to share the latest technologies with Korea. However, this publication has provided another valuable and rewarding opportunity to update my knowledge.
This book will also provide you with objective, proven, and up-to-date fitness theories.
As the translator of this book, I would be extremely happy if you could share the same feelings as the translator through this textbook.
