Property Law
Property Law
Description
Book Introduction
Property law is a law that regulates the rights relationship regarding objects and changes in those rights relationships. It consists of ownership rights, which are the principal rights, limited real rights that limit the ownership rights, and possession rights that protect the state of possession. Limited real rights are further divided into usufruct and collateral real rights based on their common characteristics.

Taking these points into account, this textbook is composed of five chapters.
In accordance with the organization of the Civil Code, the general theory of real rights law and changes in real rights are explained in Chapters 1 and 2. Chapter 3 explains basic real rights (possession rights, ownership rights), Chapter 4 explains usufruct rights (surface rights, regional rights, lease rights), and Chapter 5 explains collateral real rights (lien rights, pledge rights, mortgage rights).
However, in a situation where it is very difficult to understand the basic contents of the Property Rights Act as a whole, it is nearly impossible to organize the core parts separately into a textbook system of five chapters.
Therefore, in this new edition, the narrative structure of a general law textbook was maintained without presenting a large table of contents in accordance with the organization of the Civil Code.
However, the textbook was organized to match the lecture objectives while keeping the lecture system in mind.
