Finally, Part 5 is about the current status of elderly counseling in Korea.
The empowerment counseling model, one of the six major elderly counseling models in Part 4, recognizes that, from a social welfare perspective, the elderly are not dependent beings but rather individuals with ample potential to solve their own problems. It then presents a counseling model that identifies their strengths and seeks to solve their problems.
We also strive to facilitate practical application in the field by providing practical use cases and examples of techniques in each consulting model.
In addition, we presented the current status of institutions where senior counseling is actually provided and provided information.
