Book Introduction
The 4th edition of the Standard Middle Korean Grammar mainly supplements the achievements in Middle Korean grammar that have been made over the past 10 years through footnotes and in-depth study.
This book consists of 3 parts and 16 chapters.
Part 1 is a general introduction, covering the preliminary information that must be known for studying grammar, such as characters and notation, pronunciation of individual letters, the nature of grammatical materials, and the characteristics of Middle Korean.
Part 2 is morphology including parts of speech, and Part 3 is syntax including the functions and meanings of grammatical elements. There is some overlapping technology between the two sections.
