Body Sallim Exercise is a traditional Buddhist and Zen practice that helps people find a healthy and happy life by achieving physical balance and letting go of the desires of the mind.
The human body is made up of bones, muscles, and nerves.
When the bones of the human skeleton become misaligned, the muscles stiffen to return the bones to their original position, and the nerves within the muscles do not flow properly, which leads to disease.
The most important of these bones is the spine, and if the spine is misaligned, it causes a decrease in natural healing power and weakens the immune system.


The book provides easy-to-understand explanations of the basics of the body, basic exercises, how to correct one's own misaligned body, and health methods for each generation to deal with pregnancy, childbirth, and various diseases of the elderly, all with colorful illustrations to help you straighten your body and maximize its natural healing power.
The exercise method is also simple. Anyone, regardless of age or gender, can recover their health by walking for 20 minutes a day in a space where they can lie down or sit down, and lying down for 10 minutes with a cushion under their back.

A story about living, one
The human body is largely made up of bones, muscles, and nerves.
If one of the bones is out of alignment, the bone cannot support the force, so the muscle receives that force.
Then, the muscles in that area become tense and hardened, and the nerves passing through that area also become compressed and tense, causing pain.

The most important of these bones is the spine.
The spine contains the central nervous system called the spinal cord, through which nerves throughout the body are connected to the brain.
Nerves branch out between each vertebra and extend throughout the body. If the spine is bent or curved and the nerves are compressed, the body and brain cannot exchange necessary information.
When the spine is misaligned, it reduces the body's natural healing power and weakens the immune system, making it susceptible to disease.

Therefore, maintaining good posture without bending your spine is beneficial to your health.


Body movement considers the spine, resonance, and internal organs as the fundamental organs of the human body.
The spine extends from the head to the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral vertebrae, and is connected to the pelvis.
If there is a problem with the cervical spine, symptoms such as dizziness, headache, tinnitus, numbness in the hands and feet, nervous breakdown, and forgetfulness may occur.

If there is a problem with the 3rd, 4th, or 5th thoracic vertebrae, the functions of the stomach, liver, and endocrine organs will decline.
If there is an abnormality below the 6th thoracic vertebra, the pancreas, small intestine, and large intestine may become weakened.


For the five internal organs to function properly, they must be in their original positions.
Diseases in the internal organs occur when the spine becomes curved, the autonomic nervous system is blocked, and the spine sags and hardens, preventing it from functioning properly and losing its natural healing power.

The resonance is a small, thin air pocket that holds oxygen supplied through the navel in the womb, commonly known as the lower abdomen.
When the organs are sagging and this resonance is blocked, various diseases occur.
To empty this filled space, simply straighten your back and open your chest.
This will allow for natural abdominal breathing.


Living story, part two
Basic exercise - 20 minutes of walking, then 10 minutes of lying down with a cushion under your back.
Abnormalities in the spine can result from misalignment of the hip joint.
When the hip joint is out of alignment, the body becomes increasingly bent and stiff, with the back hunched and the shoulders drooping to one side, causing abnormalities in the body.
Something that has been bent and hardened like this must be returned to its original state.
A bent back cannot be restored to its original position with a single correction, and it is not something that can be done by others.
Only if you have the will and put in the effort can you make your body right.


A 20-minute walk every morning and a 10-minute lie-down with a pillow under your back before going to bed will do more for your health than any medicine.

This book provides parents with a simple way to correct their child's scoliosis, as well as a starting point for solving problems without much effort, from rheumatoid arthritis in the elderly.


After being discharged from the military in 1974, the author Kim Cheol met and began living with Monk Muae, a master of Buddhist medicine who had been passed down through Buddhism, in Jinbu, Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.
While living with the monk, he recovered his damaged body and for several years he traveled around Gangwon-do to help people with disabilities.


After that, he worked as a secretary to a member of the National Assembly in the 1980s, immigrated to Hawaii, USA, and returned to Korea in 1997 to spread our own traditional health methods. Since 2005, he has been carrying out civic movements by creating a non-profit organization called Momsallim Movement.
This movement is being promoted through a club of enthusiasts who have regained their health through the author's books, "Body Revolution" and "Kim Cheol's Body Life Story Volume 1 and Volume 2."


This new book, "Easy-to-Understand Body Exercise," introduces health methods that anyone can do in detail, along with pictures.
The author argues that our bodies have the ability to heal themselves without going to the hospital.
The disease is caused when the bones, which are the body's central support, become misaligned, the muscles harden to return the misaligned bones to their original positions, and the nerves passing through the muscles become blocked, causing pain.
It is possible to restore the original immunity by straightening the misaligned bones through simple exercises.


It has been said that when you have a cold, tapping your back will help to correct the misaligned spine and relieve the cold, and when the elderly have shoulder pain, they will unconsciously hit the painful area with their hands, which is a way to correct frozen shoulder by correcting the misaligned shoulder bone.
