Into the book
· Sometimes when I pet a cat during a nap, I feel like crying, so I hold it back and just cry.

· Janggun-i doesn't have any special interests other than dog grass, so to win Janggun-i's heart, you have to make him feel respected rather than using a barrage of materials.
When lifting and moving a large object, pass by a little further away so as not to startle the person; before picking up, give a warning that you are going to lift it; when the steam coming out of the kettle is directed at the general's face, slightly turn the kettle.
I love little gestures like that.

· While caring for Whitey and following and stopping fights, I learned how stray cats live.
In the city's alleyways, food is desperately scarce, and people go days without sleep to protect their territory.
One day, I saw a group of middle schoolers stamping their feet and scaring a very tired white boy as he passed by.
Those kids won't know what kind of night Whitey spends.
And you wouldn't know that a brown cat was hit by a car and killed on the side of an eight-lane highway.
It is neither normal nor natural that it is so, so difficult to make a living.

· I've been hoping for a long time that the white area will narrow down.
I hoped it would get smaller and smaller, eventually retreating into our house and peacefully retiring as a house cat and living with us.

· The old white one looks much more comfortable.
I guess it's humans who have a hard time accepting concepts like death and old age, and I'm the only one who stares at the sleeping white dog for a long time.

· Just as many cats end up in shelters, rescues always start for human reasons.

· There was no such problem when raising one.
What an idiot! I didn't know that with five of them, the shit, the pee, and the diarrhea would all be five times as much!

· He got out of the car, walked over, grabbed the guy who was crouching under the truck, put him in his arms, and wrapped him in his coat.
At that moment, a peculiar stench rose from the skinny Persian cat, the smell of an animal unable to take care of itself.

· I was always happy to hear from adopters about their children's new names.
It was a new kind of joy.
I have never seen anything so formless and yet so solid in its presence.
On the day I collected all five names, including Samsaek's new name, Hongsi, I went to bed feeling like a full and happy dragon.
There was no way I would have nightmares on a day like that.
Because the dragon saved all the cats.

· I'm currently spending my days in the same, quiet, boring routine, so the time when Shiro and the five kittens passed by feels like a commotion from my past life.

· I too had a few moments when I felt miserable.
The reason I rescued several cats, even though I'm a boring person, was because I was suffering at the time.
But even though it was painful during that time, I wasn't lonely.

Publisher's Review
How different species of paper live respecting each other's lives
The Time of Drawing Humans and Cats in One Volume
When I pet a cat during a nap, I try to hold back tears or just cry.

The comprehensive edition of 『Cat Picture Diary』 is a gift to readers who have long awaited the third work, following 『Cat Picture Diary』 and 『Cat Imbo Diary』.
After the publication of his first book, “Cat Picture Diary,” author Lee Sae-byeok gained a fan base.
The thoughtful gaze that observes cats, the attitude of treating cats as fellow living beings rather than objects of protection, the thoughtful heart that respects each other's lives even though they are different species, and the unique method of expressing the emotions of different species captured the hearts of readers.

However, the author's work is done by hand rather than using digital devices, so it requires readers to wait a long time.
Then, as the author took care of five kittens, 『Cat Foster Diary』 was suddenly published.
In the process of rehoming kittens from their rescuers to other homes, caring for the cats, and finding adopters, we encounter the many emotions of people who care about life.
The author, who had calmly reflected on living with other species in his previous work, showed through Lim Bo-il's diary just how multi-layered our relationship with the creatures of the city is.
In 『Cat Picture Diary Comprehensive Edition』, you can see in one volume the various aspects of human and cat relationships, such as living with a house cat, forming a relationship with a stray cat, and saving a kitten whose life and death are in the hands of humans.
