Publisher's Review
My relationship with knitting has developed into a profession, but my work remains my language.
When working with others, I first draw the finished image on paper, then choose the knitting base and yarn, and sometimes I even add words to convey my thoughts.
Read it and the other person will say something back.
Just like a letter.
And then the work begins to emerge.
Meanwhile, someone who was looking forward to this exchange appeared.
This book was born from that person's one word: "I wish more people would see this."
May the emotion that bursts out from within me spread like a wave through the work, through the book, and to the people who read the book.
I hope that this "Knitting Note" will help you feel the moisture seep into your body and shine brightly as you knit each day and wear it.
I sincerely hope that the images displayed in the notebook will make your knitting more precious and cherished.
-Author's Note
Following the previous work, this time too, it's a work that I want to make.
It's a simple and easy-to-coordinate piece, but it's also a little different and cool.
I want to make it quickly.
Aran patterns, color patterns… they all complete the world of beautiful knitted works.
It's fun to knit and fun to wear.
It looks like an elaborate pattern, but it's actually a simple knitting method, so even beginners can knit it with ease.
