Senior Cognitive Activity Workbook - Beginner
Description
Book Introduction
The first step to preventing dementia in three volumes
Seoul National University Press and the Korea Senior Education Association's "Creating a Happy Senior Life" Project
『Senior Cognitive Activity Workbook』 is a new book by Soyoung Yoon, the representative of the Korea Silver Education Association, who has written 『Silver Cognitive Play Workbook』 and 『Mind Reading Emotion Cards』, and is working to promote the health and happiness of the elderly.
This workbook was planned and published by Seoul National University Press in response to the growing number of dementia patients in South Korea, a country experiencing a rapid aging population, and to help all seniors prepare for dementia on their own and address the pressing challenge of improving the health and well-being of the elderly.
Professor Lee In-ah of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at Seoul National University supervised the book.
Each workbook is designed to allow for two months of study by solving one problem per day. If you study all three volumes from the beginning, you can study them over six months.
The workbook is divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of difficulty, so you can choose the level of difficulty that best suits your cognitive ability level.
You can also study on your own according to your own circumstances, or use it as a learning method through discussion with other people.
The workbook is composed of problems that stimulate both the left and right brain equally so that you can experience brain stimulation to improve cognitive function.
It is designed to train cognitive functions frequently used in daily life, such as recognition memory, memory-based reasoning, attention, and spatial memory.
Each task is woven with materials familiar to seniors, and is printed in full color with vivid photos and illustrations to facilitate easy immersion.
