Starving Cancer with Metabolic Therapy
Starving Cancer with Metabolic Therapy
Description
Book Introduction
"Starving Cancer to Death with Metabolic Therapy" Now Revised and Redesigned
Cancer is completely curable!
Beat Cancer with the Ketogenic Diet and Lifestyle Changes!

Western medicine has long believed that cancer is caused by genetic mutations and that the only way to eliminate them is through targeted therapy.
However, it has recently been revealed that cancer is not a single disease, but rather a collection of hundreds of different diseases.
Therefore, complete remission does not occur with targeted therapy that attacks only cancer cells.
What these diseases have in common is that the mitochondria are broken.
Mitochondrial metabolic disorders were occurring, providing food to cancer cells.
This book talks about how to 'starve' cancer cells using the ketogenic diet, deep nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Publisher's Review
“Cancer cells are living things too.”

This is a line from a drama that once shocked us.
Even if it is not a living thing, I think we can say that cancer is also a cell, even if we make a hundred concessions.
It's just a bit of a strange cell.
They try to multiply indefinitely, metastasize to other organs through the bloodstream or lymphatic vessels, and attract blood vessels to where they are in order to grow.
And they take the party as their prey.

The authors of this book found hints in these strange habits of cancer to help them defeat it.
Just as a car will not function if you don't put gas in it, if you deprive cancer cells of their food, they will no longer function as cancer cells and will 'starve to death'.
As mentioned before, cancer feeds on sugar.
It does not feed on anything else.
For example, things like ketones.

When we eat fewer carbohydrates and more protein and fat, our bodies use ketones, a byproduct of fatty acid breakdown, as fuel instead of breaking down sugars for fuel.
That's what normal cells are like.
Cancer cells cannot do this.
Cancer cells cannot adapt to ketones because they only use sugar for fuel.
In other words, while normal cells can survive by feeding on ketones, cancer cells 'starve to death' without sugar.
This book aims to provide hope to cancer patients by using the ketogenic diet as its foundation.

Areas where Western medicine doesn't work

Western medicine believed that cancer was caused by DNA mutations, and that if only mutated cancer cells could be tracked down and killed, cancer could be conquered.
That's why targeted therapy came into being.
But the problem is that cancer is not one disease.
We call hundreds of different diseases cancer.
Each person lives in a different environment, eats different foods, and grows different cancer cells.
So targeted therapy is showing its limitations.
A targeted therapy that works for one cancer cell may not work for another.
So, cocktail therapy (a treatment that mixes several different treatments together).
There was a problem with overtreatment), but this was very likely to kill the patient's normal cells as well.
Moreover, Western medicine uses carcinogens such as radiation to treat cancer.
It's like creating cancer in an attempt to cure cancer.
Western medicine has never won the war against cancer.

Dr. Nasha Winters and nutritional therapist Jess Higgins Kelly look at cancer from a metabolic perspective.
I mentioned earlier that cancer is a disease with hundreds of different characteristics, but even though there are hundreds of different diseases, they all have one thing in common.
That is mitochondrial failure.
Mitochondria produce energy in our bodies.
Broken mitochondria produce energy through fermentation instead of respiration, which cancer cells use.

Dr. Nasha says that these types of cancers can be treated or brought into remission through a ketogenic diet that deprives cancer cells of their food, a nutritional diet rich in nutrients that help prevent or treat cancer, and lifestyle habits that avoid exposure to toxins.

Dr. Nasha is also a cancer survivor herself.
Dr. Nasha cares for patients who have tried Western medicine but failed to find any results at her clinic.
This book can be said to be the result of Dr. Nasha's experiences and clinical results.

Finally, the metabolic therapy advocated in this book is not an alternative treatment that completely rejects Western medicine.
Since metabolic therapy can compensate for the side effects of Western treatment, patients receiving treatment and their families can find this book helpful as a form of preventative measure.
