This is a child who needs special care and psychiatric treatment.
If we leave it like this, someone in the future will become a victim of violence...”
The above is part of what a teacher with 28 years of teaching experience said to a student who, despite giving his best effort in counseling, eventually gave up and asked the author to treat the student.
And the author began to heal this student through 10 sessions of integrated art play, and at the end of the last 10 sessions, the student hugged the author tightly and said, “Teacher, don’t go.”
This experience was a strong motivation for the author to write this book.
'If only there was just one person to hold his hand, play with him, and laugh with him, he wouldn't be this lonely.'
Unlike ‘integrated arts therapy,’ the term ‘integrated arts play’ is still unfamiliar to us.
This section reveals the core of this book.
Just as the ability of art to play a therapeutic role stems from the creativity of art, the author, with the conviction that the power of play can heal people's inner selves through the creativity of art, created various games, and through these games, many people were able to experience comfort and healing in real-life settings.
And to share this experience, this book divides 'Integrated Arts Play' into four areas and introduces about 60 specific play methods and practical application cases.
