The BRICS Intensive Reading Series consists of four volumes, eight chapters per volume, and 16 units, designed to help students build broad background knowledge and develop critical thinking skills. The books carefully select topics from a variety of academic fields, including society, environment, history, science, politics, psychology, philosophy, literature, and art.
Each stage is gradually lengthened from 300 to 550 words to allow for learning at different levels, and vocabulary level and sentence length are also prepared to improve skills step by step.
The problem-solving section for the text is organized into five main sections to help students improve their adaptability to various tests by practicing various types of questions.

Cover 2-3 questions related to the topics covered in each unit to help students brainstorm and guess the content of the text.

Through five corners, we have provided various problems, including questions that clearly grasp the content of the text, implicit questions, and inference questions, to help readers read, understand, and organize their opinions on long texts.

True or False: By solving five T/F questions each, you can learn the objective and factual content of each text.

Synonym & Reference: Accurate vocabulary learning is possible by learning synonyms and references.

Insight & Understanding: You can practice intensively with questions that ask whether you understand the details and overall content of the text, as well as questions that require students to make inferences based on the text, which they find particularly difficult.

Writing & Paraphrasing: The number of questions is differentiated by level, with 3, 4, and 5 questions, and the difficulty of the questions is also differentiated, from the stage of extracting the text directly and writing the answers to the stage where you can organize and write them yourself.

Each chapter provides Grammar Plus and Confusing Words alternately for each unit to help you review important grammar and easily confused vocabulary covered in the main text after completing the main study.

The audio CD included with the Student Book helps you become accustomed to accurate pronunciation and a fast pace by listening to the text recorded with vivid pronunciation by native speakers.
In addition, it provides the convenience of being able to download and use MP3 files from the website.


[Teacher's Guide]
The Teacher's Guide has been designed to be convenient and useful for both teachers preparing classes and independent learners.
Rather than simply providing interpretations and answers, it allows you to learn additional words and phrases and provides detailed explanations of the problems.
In addition, by including the SB content together, we have taken care to ensure that sufficient learning evaluation is possible with just the commentary, freeing you from the hassle of having to check the SB and TG alternately.
