Why can't we translate it directly?

When trying to say even a single word in French, you often feel at a loss as to where to begin or how to structure your sentences.
For example, let's say you want to say the following sentences in French:

“Can you eat soon?”
“I cut my finger.”
“For some reason, my heart feels heavy.”
“Water is self-service.”

Why is this? This is because a direct translation of Korean results in French sentences that are either not structured or, even if structured, are completely unnatural.
This book was written for these people.
In other words, the purpose of this book is to help you learn how to construct natural French sentences.
But how is this possible?

French expressions

Each language has its own unique way of expressing itself.
So, in Korean, there is a Korean-style way of expressing things, and in French, there is a French-style way of expressing things.

The expressions of each language are by no means disorderly, but show very consistent tendencies.
Because the way of expressing a language is determined by the way of thinking contained in that language, and this way of thinking is constant.
In other words, Korean has its own way of thinking, and French has its own way of thinking. If you set these tendencies as a few rules and learn them by connecting them, it becomes a very efficient learning method that is incomparable to the method of memorizing unfamiliar expressions every time you see them.

In this book, we will examine and study the regular correspondences in expression that arise from the differences in thinking between Korean and French.
And through this, the goal is to build the ability to think in French and speak in French.
