Among the commonly used kanji designated by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, 1,026 elementary school kanji characters are included (80 characters for 1st grade / 160 characters for 2nd grade / 200 characters for 3rd grade / 202 characters for 4th grade / 193 characters for 5th grade / 191 characters for 6th grade).
To avoid inconvenience in studying with a large book, the book was divided into two volumes, one for grades 1-3 and one for grades 4-6.
