When I was little and went on a field trip, I would open my eyes wide without anyone waking me up.
The reason I was excited about the picnic day was because I could get out of the school and spend a whole day having fun with my friends.
But what made me even more excited was the kimbap my mom made for me early in the morning.
The smell of sesame oil that I felt as soon as I opened my eyes filled the whole house with a fragrant aroma, as if telling me that today was a picnic day.
Repeating the word "delicious," I ate the pork belly my mom had cut up with one hand without stopping, and with the other hand, I picked out only the pretty ones and filled my lunchbox to the brim.
And when it was lunchtime and we opened our lunch boxes, happiness filled our faces once again.
Although the shape, size, and taste are all different, the amount of sincerity and love that our mothers put into their lunch boxes are incomparable.
In this way, we shared our mother's love and friendship with each other.
Even though it didn't have amazing ingredients or a special taste, the kimbap I ate that morning and shared with my friends was the best in the world.

In fact, she took the last syllable of her mother's name and named it 'Sooki', and that's how 'Sooki's Kitchen' began.
Instead of ‘Hyeri’s Kitchen’, which is named after her own name, she calls it ‘Sooki’s Kitchen’, which is named after her mother.
