Raon's Four Seasons Nature Art Play
Raon's Four Seasons Nature Art Play
Description
Book Introduction
Kindergarten teachers pay more attention
Natural materials, full of emotion, high-quality mom-made art play

Power influencer "Raon's Full Day" offers 267 mom-friendly art activities for all seasons, with 191 QR codes for play videos.

This book contains the four seasons of nature art play that I have been doing with my son Raon (currently 6 years old) for about 5 years under the nickname 'A Day Full of Raon'.
Among the mother-led games that Raon has played since she was 6 years old, we introduced games that children aged 3 to 5 can easily and enjoyably play throughout the four seasons.

Between the ages of 3 and 5, when children grow rapidly and their fine motor skills, tactile sense, and creativity develop, play experiences that combine natural materials and art play expand children's imagination and creativity infinitely and help them grow rapidly.

When a child is born into the world, everything is a first and first experience.
Especially leaves, branches, stones, dirt, snow, rain, wind, etc. that we encounter in nature and forests.
Children find it simply enjoyable and wonderful to be with nature itself.
If a mother (parent) adds just a little bit of interest and effort, the child can gain a variety of experiences and enjoy the beauty of the world.

It is a mother's (parent's) privilege and joy to feel and discover small changes in her child.
I hope that through this book, many mothers (parents) will learn that motherly play is not difficult.
I also hope that you will believe in the power of a mother who can feel her child's growth from the closest distance, watch together, and cheer them on.
I think it will be a time for mothers to grow together while feeling the child's infinite potential and charm.

Into the book
It's time for the child to color the various stones he or she has collected with his or her own unique sensibility.
A child's imagination grows as he or she sees the colorful and beautiful stones transformed.

--- p.26

Bright and varied colors are great for children's visual stimulation.
When combined with materials that provide tactile stimulation, it becomes a great sensory play that fosters further coordination and development.

--- p.27

Raon likes eggs, so he eats three or four every day.
After washing the eggshells I had collected, I dried them and used them for play.
It took a long time to collect the eggshells, but the game was so much fun that it was over in no time.
It always feels good when my child is happy and gives me a thumbs up signal.

--- p.29

Playing with recycled materials is beneficial and enjoyable because it allows children to see things from different perspectives and gives them a new lease on life by utilizing discarded items.
Today, the egg carton transformed into a butterfly.

--- p.30

A sensory bottle that allows you to see, hear, and compare size and quantity by weighing the same weight.
For young children, it serves as an instrument that allows them to feel sounds, and for slightly older children, it serves as a good Montessori teaching aid that allows them to talk about different volumes despite the same weight.

--- p.35

Children who are interested in space naturally love the moon and sing about the stars.
As we talked about the pictures drawn by stars and looked at books about constellations, my child developed a desire to find constellations himself.
This is a constellation drawing made with a child like that.

--- p.52

In autumn, the maple leaves are beautiful, but the flowers are also very pretty and lovely.
Autumn flowers are different from spring flowers, and their colors are deep and autumnal, which gives them their charm.
If you put pretty flowers one by one in a vase, you can preserve the beauty of autumn even more beautifully.

--- p.100

While pretty leaves and flowers are nice on an autumn walk, the natural friends you can't miss are the berries.
The acorns I picked up in large quantities are my favorite among them all, and today I enjoyed making art with them along with my favorite book.

--- p.102

Emotional play, which allows you to glimpse into your child's mind and share his or her thoughts, is one of the most important forms of play that cannot be missed when playing with your child.
It is a valuable play for mothers as well, as they learn about their child's feelings through stories about emotions shared with their child and learn about facial expressions by adding their favorite methods.

--- p.119

The phases of the moon are always a fascinating topic for children.
It's nice to share stories while observing the daily changes of the moon, and it's also nice to continue the stories and the changes of the moon through art activities.
Today, we added some science play and created a special picture frame that represented the phases of the moon.

--- p.121

Pine cones are also a precious treasure of autumn.
The pine cones you have collected beautifully are washed and dried well, and they have a humidifying effect while they dry, making them even better play materials.
Let's spend winter together by adding warm lighting made with pretty pine cones collected in the fall.

--- p.132

My child's favorite time of the year when we go for a walk in the spring is when we meet our ant friends.
Even if it's just watching ants moving food, children become very interested and happy.
We hope that this will be a good gift for such a child, and we have prepared a small world that contains the daily lives of ants.

Publisher's Review
Ages 3 to 5, when children's brain and fine motor skills develop rapidly.
Leaves, flowers, twigs, stones, toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, bubble wrap, recycled boxes, etc.
Nature art play creates beautiful memories and fosters growth and development in children.
Everyone, hold on tight!

Due to the pandemic, we can't travel, go camping, or go to kids' cafes, and the kids are running wild because they're bored...
The ultimate "Nature Art Play" item that'll save moms from mental breakdowns! Time flies, and your child's attention is captivated!

After having a child, many things changed and became unfamiliar to me.
Spending time with children also required some adjustment.
I wanted to be a good mother, but the difficult task of raising a child with a sensitive nature felt like a huge wall at every moment.
As a new mom, every moment was a first for me, so I was worried about everything from start to finish. The endless worries were like homework with no clear answers. The more I searched for answers to do well, the more I found myself swayed by the overflowing information, leaving me alone.
I gradually lost confidence in parenting, wondering what would happen if I were a mother who was not of any help to my child.
Becoming a mother made me feel anxious because I felt like everything I had built up until then was useless and I was losing myself.

My self-esteem was at rock bottom due to the hardships of parenting, so I wanted to get away from spending all day at home.
So the place I chose was the cultural center.
The cultural center with children was like a small oasis.
It was great to interact with people, and seeing children of the same age gave me an opportunity to reflect on myself and my child.
I thought that the child who was thought to be sensitive was more curious than I thought, had good concentration, and was quick to perceive things, so I thought that his sensitivity was revealed through experiencing many things.
It was only then that I realized that I had been so focused on raising my child that I had never thought about how to use my time raising him.
On the one hand, I also developed the belief that if I, as a mother, put in the effort, our lives would change a little.

With that courage, I expanded my classes.
By learning the class with my child with a positive attitude, I was able to get a feel for the overall atmosphere and methods of the class, and I was able to find classes and materials that suited my child's personality.
It was an important study for me as well.
Among them, the most important lesson was the realization that there was a day when my child was so shocked that he still has the trauma, and that classes that are forced on a child without considering their personality can be toxic.
There may be some unavoidable aspects to a class that must be conducted objectively for all children, but I realized that regardless of whether they are adults or children, the teacher's ability and heart are important.

So, what about me? Despite my extensive experience teaching children, I knew that teaching one's own children was no easy task.
But when I changed my thinking from teaching to thinking of it as 'a time for the child and the mother to play together,' my heart was filled with warmth.
It was never a question of whether I was good or bad.
At first, I thought every day I spent with my child was like homework, but I completely changed my perspective and thought of it as a matter of assigning homework and solving it myself.
A mother knows better than anyone what her child likes, and a mother also knows better than anyone what her child dislikes.
That fact remains unchanged, and that was a strength of my mother that no teacher could possess.
Even if the child is a little bit lacking, the mother can watch the child grow, and if the child does well, the mother will be happier than anyone else about the child's growth.
That's how I started playing Mom's Game.

Every day, the question, ‘What should I play today?’ has become a daily routine.
Not every day was fun.
There were some games that my child liked, but there were also games that he didn't respond to, and there were days when my child liked them so much that cleaning became a burden.
But all these times were moments that I would not have known if I hadn't done my mother's bidding.
What textures your child likes, how they play, and what colors they use.
If the mother had not played the game, it would have been much later after the child had grown up that the child would have been able to know the child's personality through the child or the teacher.
Thanks to my mother's art play, I was able to fully experience this aspect of my child by creating it together with my child without having to hear about it from anyone else.

I can do more of what my child likes, and if there is something my child doesn't like, I can help them.
For children with sensitive tactile senses like Raon, starting with their favorite materials can help reduce tactile sensitivity, and by exposing them to a variety of materials and providing them with various stimuli, this can help alleviate trauma.
Because we are mothers.
Because I am on the child's side and can help him/her with his/her shortcomings and encourage him/her to move forward slowly.
So, I started with small play and then moved on to big play, and gave the child a variety of materials, starting with the materials he liked and moving on to the materials he disliked.
I hoped that this would be a time when the child could enjoy everything with peace of mind.
As the seasons change, I hope to feel the season and enjoy everything that comes with it.

The best part is that all this time is a memory for us.
Years have passed and it has already been four years since I started playing with my child.
We shared many stories with our children while playing hundreds of games, and our children, too, seem to have not forgotten those times, as they recall those days and reminisce about similar games.
All play is directed towards the child, and so the inspiration for play always comes from the child.
It becomes a game for children, and I am excited and moved every day by sharing it with my child and seeing his growth.
Every day spent with my child was a day where I got to know that shining child better than anyone else.
I record those moments, hoping that these moments will become nutrients for the child and bloom like flowers on all the paths he will walk in the future.

Playing doesn't necessarily fulfill a mother's duties, but the author wanted to tell us through this book that there are special moments that mothers can gain through play.
Because it is always a mother's privilege to notice the small 1mm of a child that others may overlook.
