Description
Book Introduction
Director Hong Ji-seon, an infant and toddler sleep expert who is an International Board Certified Breastfeeding Consultant (IBCLC) and a Korea Coach Association (KCA) certified coach, has compiled the know-how she has accumulated from resolving over 10,000 cases of infant feeding and sleep problems into this book.
Director Hong Ji-seon does not provide a formula for parenting, but rather suggests adjusting to the child's rhythm.
While numerous parenting books published to date have merely presented formal methodologies, I am confident that the breastfeeding/sleep strategies presented in this book will provide both a gentle touch and practical help to new mothers in Korea.
Babies are not machines that move according to a set schedule, but living beings with different bodies and minds every day.
Parenting is not about simply applying a set formula, but rather a process of carefully observing your baby's changing rhythm every day and adjusting to that flow.
Rather than trying to find the right answer, it is more important to try to interpret the baby's expressions, and relationships should take precedence over methods.
This is the message this book is trying to convey.
Parenting that focuses on the baby's signals and responses, connecting deeply with the baby and creating the day together - that is the beginning of true parenting.
