This book is a supplementary textbook that can be used with the 'easy Korean' series developed by the Korean Education and Culture Center (KECC). It contains only the content that teachers and learners have needed through many years of use of this series.

It covers a variety of topics, including vocabulary practice, grammar practice, and listening/reading/writing practice, based on each major grammar, so that it can be used not only with the 'easy Korean' series but also with textbooks from other institutions. It also includes a CD for listening practice, model answers for the practice, listening passages, and comprehensive evaluations, so it can be used as a resource for self-study.

Essential vocabulary for each unit is presented by topic, function, and situation, and problems and listening exercises that utilize the target grammar of each unit are included to help improve skills.
Reading skills were improved through reading passages utilizing essential vocabulary and grammar for each unit, and the completeness of learning was increased through writing related to the topic and reading passages.

The CD included in the textbook contains recordings of the 'reading' and 'listening' activities for each unit.
