March is a very meaningful and important month for children, parents, and teachers.

Part 1, "Establishing a Play-Centered Class in March," covers preparations for classroom management, creating a weekly education plan, and key points for each week.

During the first week of March, it is very important to build positive relationships with teachers and friends and to adapt well to the new environment.
Toddlers who are attending kindergarten for the first time may be reluctant to be separated from their parents or may feel anxious about the unfamiliar environment of the new kindergarten.

In week 2, we will learn specifically about the promises that must be kept in kindergarten.
For 3-year-olds, we teach them the simplest promises step by step through fun games, and for 5-year-olds, we help them recognize the need for rules and learn to keep them on their own.
Additionally, we create a safe and accepting atmosphere to help children adapt, along with the perception that kindergarten is a fun place.


In week 3, we will explore and learn more about the various play spaces in the classroom.
If your child is immersed in various activities without exploring the play space, you can skip this. However, 3-year-olds may have difficulty with new things due to fear even when there are various toys, so they need to have experience playing with a teacher.
At this time, we also learn about the safe use of tools and toys.


In the fourth week, you can instill a sense of stability and anticipation in children by helping them understand the flow and order of their daily routine, including going to school, free play, large and small group activities, lunch, naps and rest, and outdoor play.
We also take a detailed look at the promises we need to keep during our daily routine.
You can set promises with your child about things to keep when gathering together or doing group activities, such as sharing stories, promises to keep during snack and lunch times, promises to keep at the outdoor playground, and promises regarding safety when getting to and from school.


Part 2, 'March Play-Centered Classroom Management in Practice', introduces games that can actually be played each week.
