The law of premise
Description
Book Introduction
This book is considered to be Neville Goddard's representative work.
Of the two axes of Neville Goddard's lectures, "Law" and "Promise," only "Law" is covered.
It explains how to actually use imagination, and how to train concentration and conscious control, which are essential for using imagination well.
This book will be useful to those who believe that imagination creates reality but have difficulty applying it to reality.

Publisher's Review
Even when we think a thought, we are continually assuming something.
Most of these premises are based on our visible world.
Because I am poor, I assume that I am poor and think things like, “When will I ever be rich?” and “It’s hard to make a living.”
Because I am sick, I think things like, “When will I ever be healthy?” and “I want to live without getting sick.”
But what would happen to our lives if our thinking were to transcend these external worldly assumptions—if, in other words, we began to think from the perspective of being poor but rich? If we embraced this new world within ourselves and built new assumptions based on it, what would happen to our external lives? Neville Goddard confidently asserts that our external world will change in response to the new internal assumptions we've created.
The truth Neville Goddard conveys is very simple.
But even if we believe this simple truth, we face difficulties when it comes to applying it to reality.
It is easy for anyone to say this truth.
If you add the author's own words, it won't be difficult to write a great book.
But when we put this truth into practice in reality, we have difficulty controlling our consciousness and end up judging things based on external factors.
Even though we know that “the inside creates the outside,” our minds are already accustomed to judging the outside world, so the shaking of the outside world greatly shakes our inner world.
How can we break free from this cycle of repeated failure? How can we maintain a firm grip on our inner world and develop new ideas from new perspectives? I believe you'll find the answer in this book.
This book tells us how we can develop control and concentration of our consciousness, and why we should practice focusing inwardly on a regular basis.
So, after reading this book, you will realize how much we have neglected our minds to the external world, and it will make you resolve to take better control of your mind and develop the muscle of imagination.
