Description
Book Introduction
The author of this book wanted to show that it is not only big, grand routines that change your life, but also that simply repeating small routines can become turning points that can change your life.
I wanted to share that writing every day maximizes the power of routine.
I wanted to talk about the strength to not give up when you have colleagues who are looking in the same direction as you, along with the effectiveness of various challenges, and the bond of camaraderie that comes from taking on missions.

This book introduces a method for anyone to easily create and implement routines for those who think routines are difficult.
So, simply repeating small, easy actions can spark the passion to take on bigger missions.

Creating a routine doesn't require any complicated format.
If you really need tools, a piece of notepad and a pen will suffice.
Just writing down what you have to do each day and crossing it off one by one is a way to faithfully follow the routine.

Into the book
[A routine that changes your life]

To escape from the stifling feeling, you must try to change.
Change begins with daily, repeated actions.
People change through repeated specific actions.
Actions like writing, exercising, and reading take a lot of time to become familiar to the body.
A routine is a collection of actions that I need to do.
When a routine is repeated, it develops into a habit.
To make good habits stick to our bodies, we must first design a routine and put it into practice.

[Routines become the pillars that support life]

What held my heart together when it was falling apart was routine.
I started a blog because I had nowhere to vent my frustration.
As I poured out my frustrations in writing, I felt a little bit of comfort.
In difficult situations, the support of my neighbors was a great strength.
I found a way to escape from the stifling reality.
That's the routine.

Success can be achieved through repeated routines.

Just because you start a routine doesn't mean changes will happen right away.
You have to do it consistently to feel the effects of the routine.
If you don't see results after 100 days, you should try it for another 100 days.
If you still can't see the path after 100 more days, you need to do another 100 days.
300 days is almost a year.
Anything you do should be tried for at least a year.
A year is enough time to find the path you want.

[The Difference Between a Routine and a Habit]

At first, I didn't really know the difference between the two.
As I designed and implemented the routine, I discovered the differences between the two.
Many of the things we have known as habits up until now were actually routines.
A routine refers to the usual order and method of actions performed regularly.
Routines are things that you don't necessarily have to do, but are nice to do.
Routines do not run automatically.
It can only be implemented if my will is reflected.
On the other hand, a habit refers to a way of acting that is naturally learned through the process of repeating an action over a long period of time.

[Routine to Break Bad Habits]

Habits are driven by instinct.
When bad habits become ingrained, they are likely to have a negative impact on our lives.
One thing to be careful about is that bad habits quickly take root in our bodies and minds.
In contrast, it takes a lot of time and effort for good habits to become ingrained in your body.
Just because you've established a position doesn't mean it will last forever.
When you let your guard down, your habits will start to move in a bad direction.
When good habits are strong, they disappear for a while.
It is a bad habit that shows up as if it had been waiting for us when our hearts are wavering.

Insights and Growth Gained Through Writing

Through writing, I changed.
I was able to have a conversation with myself, something I had been neglecting until now.
I know myself better than before.
I'm talking about my true self, not how I appear to others.
When you get to know me, you grow faster.
Here, growth is not about outward growth.
It means inner growth.
As I began to realize the true meaning of growth, I experienced the following positive effects:

[New opportunities created by consistent records]

The most active one right now is the 100-day challenge.
The challenge, named 'Black and White Challenge', has been going on successfully for a year since it started in August of last year.
The rules of the challenge are very simple.
It is a system where you set simple challenges for 100 days and complete them daily.
The goal of the challenge is simple.
It is about developing consistency by certifying every day for 100 days without missing a single day.
This also continues with routine.
It started out free, but now charges a participation fee.
Every time I read a review saying that the Black and White Challenge helped them create a routine, I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
By operating various contents like this, I have made my name widely known in the online world, including blogs.

[Overcome the Magic Minute]

I decided that the time I was debating whether or not to exercise was the magic minute.
The thing you need to be most careful about at this moment is being careless.
To keep a routine, you must never let your guard down.
If you let your guard down and think you've done well so far, you'll be easily swayed by temptation.
If you skip a routine once or twice, similar worries will continue to arise.
In the past, I was far from a planned life.
I just diligently drew up a plan but didn't put it into action.
Once you've successfully started exercising, you need to resist the temptation to make it easy.
I have to block out the voices that call me to do only half of the hour-long workout.
If you are not careful, you can easily fall into the trap of laziness.

[Strategies for Maintaining Consistency Beyond Three Days]

People instinctively start to let their guard down on the third day of a challenge.
No matter how strong your resolve is when you start, strangely enough, you will find yourself starting to feel a little less enthusiastic about the third day.
Just looking at the gym shows that maintaining is harder than starting.
Gyms are always crowded with people during the New Year.
Because exercise always tops people's New Year's resolutions.
People who start the new year with great momentum disappear before March is even over.
Eventually, only the familiar faces you always see remain to guard the gym.
