Description
Book Introduction
[Bear] is a human magazine that introduces people who do happy things.
Each issue features a topic and hears stories from people working in that field.
Is it possible to make a living doing what you love? You can delve deep into the romantic world of work you've vaguely imagined.
[Bear] contains vivid episodes from the field and honest stories from interviewees.
[Bear] hopes that more people will be happy through his work.
In this issue, Bear Magazine features a story about nomads.
In these difficult times for everyone, I hope that listening to the stories of people living a nomadic life can provide some relief.
I want to go somewhere quiet and relax on the weekend, but when I think about everything from where to go to what to pack, I feel endlessly overwhelmed.
The Bear Magazine Nomad Edition is filled with stories from seasoned campers and travelers.
If you read their recommended travel destinations and camping tips, you'll be able to go on an outing with a lighter heart.
You will also have the opportunity to hear about how those who live close to nature treat the environment and reflect on environmental protection.

Into the book
Travel is a source of relaxation and a driving force for life.
It gives small but certain achievements.
Recharging from travel gives me the energy to face everyday life again.
When I come back later, I think I will be able to say that my life itself has been a long journey.
--- p.
25
Camping is camping.
I think it's the best way to preserve nature, enjoy it as it is, and create precious memories with family or a loved one.
Rather than going on a camping trip where you eat, drink, damage nature, and disregard others, I hope you can fully enjoy a moment of leisure and rest while camping, experiencing nature, the changing seasons, the cool breeze, and the stars in the night sky—things you can't experience in everyday life.
--- p.
60
I enjoy meeting different people in different places and delivering books created by different people to them.
It's still new to some people.
I want to continue to feel the satisfaction that comes from conveying new things.
--- p.
99
I remember when I went into Native American territory with my Navajo friend.
My friend told me about this really cool canyon.
“This is my office.
Isn't that cool? By the way, what tribe are you in?" At one point, not having an office made me feel intimidated, but that reminded me that I already had a nice office.
That's also very nice and very spacious.
--- p.
119
These days, I'm interested in environmental issues.
It's important to live healthily, but water, air, and food are all unstable.
If you look closely, you can see that the environment is very damaged.
Social distancing is important, but it is also a time for ecological distancing.
I think people should live as people and nature should live as nature.

Publisher's Review
Every weekend, I go to the beach with my family, pitch a tent, and light a fire.
Thanks to COVID-19, my family has joined the camping party.
Fall asleep to the sound of waves, walk through a pine forest, and grind coffee beans with a manual grinder.
‘There are so many good places in our country.
Now I need to look around more closely!'
How is everyone doing? I'm especially curious about how those of you with free spirits are enduring this stifling reality.
Watching the very long rainy season and typhoons this summer, I felt that the Earth is gradually changing.
The Suncheon area where we went for the interview was flooded, so we had to film in a different location.
I've also become accustomed to conducting non-face-to-face interviews via email.
The environment changes so quickly.
As I get older, the Earth feels smaller and smaller, just as the parents I relied on seem smaller and smaller.
How should we view the environment? I met and talked with people who live in nature.
Also, there have been many changes to 『Bear』.
The format has become smaller, illustrations have been added, and new interview formats have been attempted.
I don't know if this change is a good thing.
But I don't want to stop.
Without novelty and challenge, existence is meaningless.
Nomadism is a lifestyle that chooses adventure over a stable life.
We live in a different environment than our parents, so the stable life of the past is no longer valid.
The future will be created by people who live differently than before.
They are the people who create, plan, and move culture.
We love nature, coexist with it, and live creatively in unfamiliar places.
What kind of life do you dream of?
