The latest work stories of elegant planners
Description
Book Introduction
The story of Baemin, the number one company that college students want to work for!
Veteran planners share their work know-how and experiences!
A planner who wants to do a good job, a person who wants to grow as a planner,
A must-read for anyone seeking insight into the tech industry.
From the New Year's Literary Contest, to the "Easy Delivery App" that anyone can intuitively use, to the "Freshman Welcome Banner" that expands contact with college students, and more.
Woowa Brothers has been planning new services by deeply observing the times and people.
Behind the scenes, there are plans from members of various departments who are struggling.
This book contains specific planning cases of 10 people with different years of experience and departments, including the Public Relations Planning Team, Food Exhibition Content Development Team, Regional Growth Cooperation Team, and Product Design Team.
The know-how and real-life experiences they shared on the common topic of planning work will serve as a valuable guide for those who wish to proactively plan their lives, including their work life.
It contains numerous anecdotes and lessons that are especially unfamiliar to those just starting out in society or those who have only worked at one company.
As you read the book, you'll feel as if you're eavesdropping on a heartfelt conversation at a table next to you in a cafe, befitting the cheerful Baemin brand.
This book explains what kind of planning the veteran planners of Elegant Brothers do and how they solve problems to achieve results.
The authors discuss everything from work direction to hard skills in an engaging way, focusing on three core topics: 'planning and execution process,' 'problem solving,' and 'organization.'
This book will be of interest to planners who want to understand the true essence and skills of planning, job seekers who are curious about the practical aspects of each job at Baemin, and office workers who are concerned about how to properly solve problems in their work life.
It is not a success story of a seemingly successful employee at a large corporation, nor is it a dramatic story.
Each page is filled with passion and sincerity as each person finds their way through their own worries, big and small.
It honestly explains how a planning worker moves forward in a company where anxiety, confidence, and emotions intersect.

Into the book
A company is a 'problem book with no right answers' that constantly forces us to think and move.
Just because I was a new employee, it wasn't like I was as refreshing as a lemon, and just because I was a super senior, it wasn't like I had an easier time working than others.
We all just try to survive each day in our own way and grow diligently.
So, I recorded 10 stories about the same topic of work, each containing their own struggles and growth.
--- From the "Prologue"
My desire to do a good job is firm.
Another way to express this attitude is to say, 'I want to complete my work beautifully.'
That is why I strongly sympathize with the expression “aesthetic fulfillment of work” in “Why We Work” by Kazuo Inamori, founder of Kyocera, a global electronics company in Japan.
It is said that a tribe on the South Pacific island of New Britain has a culture that says, "If you work hard, your mind will grow."
What they pursue is the 'aesthetic achievement of work', which involves completing work beautifully and honing one's character through the process.
--- 「Part 1.
From "Baemin's 4th year, efforts to do a good job"
There are three concerns when it comes to satisfying new customers.
First, a company's resources are limited.
With limited resources, various promotional activities must be carried out. Among promotional activities that directly lead to sales and social contribution activities that enhance the invisible brand image, the priority must naturally be promotional activities that generate a quick customer response.
Second, at the team level, we are constantly weighing whether to use our limited budget to further social contribution or to make this work known to the public.
--- 「Part 2.
From “Creating an Eating Experience”
First, don't trust your own brain.
We use digital tools as an 'external brain' to replace our brain, which is prone to getting distracted by other things at any time.
Recent advances in AI have made it possible to control mistakes that can occur in repetitive tasks.
On days when I have a lot to do, I write down a to--- 「do list by the hour before starting work so that I don't miss anything.
This is because meetings that were prone to errors can be automatically recorded using AI tools and action items organized, significantly reducing the number of omissions that occur before and after meetings.
--- 「Part 8.
From "How to Run Even If You're Not Perfect"
There was a time when I was at a loss, but after much thought, I came to a realization.
The essence of onboarding is not to convey a lot of information, but to serve as a 'bridge' to help people adapt to the work environment.
Above all, connection with the field was important.
This realization completely changed the direction of the reorganization.
The key to reorganization is not ‘what to add’ but ‘what to take away’.
Welcome On was reborn with a new slogan, ‘Ready to work like Baemin.’

The Baemin planners, the authors, have been steadily improving their 'way of working together' by growing together with customers, business owners, and riders.
Campaigns that offer close care services for new business owners and deliver social messages in a playful manner clearly demonstrate this philosophy.
This book focuses on the essence of work, going step by step through how it began and what goals it has achieved to bring about real-world change.
It encourages you to develop the ability to make your own decisions without being swayed by trends, and teaches you how to lead your projects to more valuable results.

Before becoming a veteran planner, I went through all kinds of slumps and challenges.
The work skills of professional workers in one book!
"The Current Work Stories of Elegant Planners" is a book that gathers the voices of Elegant Brothers planners with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
The content seems to have been copied directly from the company's planning site.
The planning process is organized step by step, from feedback from the part manager on resolving ambiguous R&R issues, to how developers respond to service outages, to how to use Google Calendar within Baemin, to how to turn your work style into an asset for your next project.
In this process, the authors' know-how, accumulated in their respective positions, is naturally incorporated, such as the realization through in-depth research that app use fosters "self-reliance" and the principles for planning content for business owners.
This book also provides a detailed look into how customized services and communication methods are actually planned and implemented, taking into account different customer segments, such as new entrepreneurs and small business owners. If you've ever had a vague curiosity about how Baemin planners find their way in the real world, I hope you'll find the answer in this book.
We've worked hard to convey the authors' experiences in a useful way, without embellishing them, and we've included practical job knowledge and tips throughout the text so you can put it to use right away.
It's full of useful and relatable content for those working at tech companies or startups, including rules for asking questions, ways to improve service performance, principles for working as a workaholic, and examples of how ADHD designers compensated for their weaknesses with AI tools and work environment design.
This book helps us view 'planning' not as a simple job, but as an attitude and mindset that seeks to expand the world of work.
If you're someone who wants to remain steadfast and solve problems in your own way in a rapidly changing environment, you'll discover the power of practical, yet humane planning in "Elegant Planners' Current Work Stories."
“We always make it for someone.”
