Book Introduction
What words do those who love, read, write, and translate poetry hold in their hearts? We are publishing the "Summer Language Dictionary," written in collaboration with those who create books at Achimdal, poets whose poetry has been published by Achimdal, and readers who cherish Achimdal.
This book, consisting of a total of 157 words, is a book that selects words that come to mind during the summer and creates meaning by going beyond the existing meaning and creating your own story.
We define a new summer by recalling the summer scenery that flows through our skin and lingers in our eyes.
As scenes that appeared in summer and then suddenly disappeared are presented through words, we can experience summer more richly and deeply.
How many more summers will we experience? This 157-word story, a reminder of the summers that have already passed and the summers to come, offers a glimpse into the future.
From words that lie in the middle of summer, to words that disappear like a mirage in summer.
Through words that allow you to experience summer in various ways, we hope you will encounter scenery that is more beautiful than last summer and more poignant than the coming summer.

“The memory of the care I received in those days follows me all my life and comforts me whenever I feel like I’m going to get worse.
In the midst of a suffocating moment, when I'm barely able to straighten my body and endure, there's always at least one person who sends a fan of wind towards me.
Is debt a preparation for me?

“How thrilled I was that day, as if I had the most useful item of the season all to myself, I would take out my fan and blow the wind towards you, only towards you.”

“I like touching straws.
To be precise, I like to sit across the table from the other person and talk while touching the wrinkled part where the head of the straw bends and stirring the drink with ice.
Touching and turning a straw brings me comfort.
“As I turn the straw clockwise, counterclockwise, or in any direction I choose, the emotions that were swirling around in me slowly subside and settle.”

“The handkerchief that had been soaking wet to the nape of my neck had already dried.
The luxury of that day remained a special memory, and I became someone who carried a handkerchief even more in the summer.
