Before we were us
Description
Book Introduction
"In this difficult life, we each study and live our own survival methods."
How wonderful it would be if there were a school that taught life, rather than just academics. School taught us nothing.
How to bounce back from failure, how to overcome hurt, how to endure loss, how to overcome loneliness, how to love others, and above all, how to live with a happy heart.
Because no one tells us, we may be repeating the cycle of trial and error, falling down and getting up again and again in our one and only life.
Being an adult means being able to get up on your own even when you fall.
And somehow, I find myself gradually hiding more and more things, acting more awkward, and crying alone more and more often.
To make the times ahead more solid, we may need to create our own textbooks from now on.
This book is more like a reflective journal of myself raising myself up in relationships.
Before we can say we are ourselves, before we can believe we know others, we must first know ourselves.
Before a wound creates another wound, a healthy mind is needed to heal the wound.
So, each of us had to cultivate a mind that could regenerate itself.

Author's Note
In human society, when hardships come, when difficulties arise, when I suddenly feel lonely in the time I have left alone, I want to tell you about the heart I have trained alone.
We may not be able to understand or comfort the pain and hardships of others, but on days when no one can comfort you, I hope these words will be a calming and strong source of strength for you.
