When 95-year-old Sook-rye, who had amassed wealth during the rapid economic growth of the 1950s, goes missing, her daughter So-young, who was working as a psychiatrist in New York, returns to Korea to await her inheritance.
So-young hires dog walker Ha-min to look after her mother's dog, and as she begins to fall in love with him, she confronts the consciousness she has long ignored.
