Canadian playwright Nicholas Vilan's debut play, Elephant Song, premiered in Stratford, Ontario, in 2004 and has since enjoyed acclaim in New York, London, Paris, Turkey, Korea, and Hong Kong.
In 2013, it was performed over 100 times in Paris and was nominated for the Molière Award for Best Play.
A psychological thriller mystery drama exploring the pain and trauma experienced by a child born from a parent's one-night stand, as well as the meaning of existence and freedom.
In Korea, it garnered much attention when it was first performed in Asia, selling out all tickets, and has since been performed numerous times, establishing itself as a work that leaves a lasting impression.

Michael, a 23-year-old patient confined to a mental hospital for eight years, hides the secrets of his existence in conversations filled with enigmatic jokes, metaphors, and symbols.
Greenberg, who confronts him, tries to track down the missing doctor, but is soon drawn into a 'psychological game' controlled by Michael.
