Publisher's Review
1.
We've brought together the best experts to create the ultimate science introductory book!
It's not easy to achieve both expertise and fun in children's science books.
This book brings together the best experts in each field to achieve difficult goals.
The planning and editing were done by researchers at the KAIST Science Gifted Education Research Institute who have been teaching children for a long time.
The research team, comprised of experts in physics, chemistry, life sciences, and earth sciences, participated in all stages of book production, from selecting the book's topic and organizing the table of contents to reviewing and editing the content, thereby enhancing the book's completeness.
To deliver learning information in an engaging way, a webtoon writer created an interesting story, and a professional writer with a science background checked the learning content and supplemented the story.
The information corner was written by a science major who received his bachelor's and master's degrees from KAIST.
The characters are the best creators of this era who need no further explanation, the Common Siblings, and the veteran illustrator has further enhanced the charm of the Common Siblings.
With the common goal of developing high-quality introductory science books for children, the future leaders, the best production teams have come together to develop science educational comics that combine expertise and fun.
2.
Reading interesting stories will help you build your scientific knowledge!
No more science educational comics with separate stories and learning content! Previously, science educational comics often blended the story and learning content like oil and water, resulting in children simply reading the story and moving on.
《The Common Siblings' Science Exploration Team》 is structured so that learning information is exquisitely incorporated into the story, so that learning content can be remembered naturally just by watching the cartoon.
Now, enjoy reading comics and build up your scientific knowledge without even realizing it!
3.
Textbooks cover basics, the latest research, and domestically relevant information!
The basis of science learning is textbooks.
We thoroughly analyzed the contents of elementary school science textbooks, divided them into volumes by topic, and included all the textbook contents in each volume.
To systematically convey scientific knowledge to children, the table of contents was organized and stories were created in accordance with the curriculum.
We've enriched the content by adding topics that children might find interesting, the latest research, and information related to our country that aren't in the textbook.
4.
Satisfy your children's curiosity about science!
The odd questions children ask make great science topics in themselves.
The editorial team conducted a survey during the planning stage, receiving over 3,000 questions from elementary school students.
Among them, we selected the most frequently asked or novel questions that children are curious about and organized the text in a format of answering them.
What science questions do you think your friends are most curious about?
5.
Fun and informative activities with bonus stickers!
Once you've finished a unit, you can try out fun activities based on what you've learned so far.
There are plenty of exciting games to play, including connecting the dots to create constellations, finding the difference in the astronaut training grounds, guessing the planets in our solar system, and finding mazes in our galaxy.
Don't miss out on the cute character stickers of the common siblings and puppy Thumb as a bonus!
