Cover story: We visited Deoksanji located on Bondong-ro, Donghwa-myeon, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.
Without any special information, I received a call from my brothers saying they were fishing at the end of the embankment, so I joined them.
After an early dinner and a quick chat, a float set up 1m from the right side of the turf began to rise and a 33cm crucian carp came up, making us scream.
By 9pm, I was screaming with joy as I pulled out five consecutive moon-level numbers from the turf.
My younger siblings were also able to have a pleasant night, as they caught one or two pretty carp every hour until 2 a.m.
We featured Nam Jae-woo, Gu Beom-mo, and Kim Il-nam, who caught a solid moonfish, on the cover of this month.
