"Call me by your name." Could there be a confession so powerful and romantic? Gazing at those two names, shining brighter than the scorching sunlight, I find myself completely immersed in their summer.
Prism of No. 27, "Call Me by Your Name," begins with André Aciman's original novel, director Luca Guadagnino, and various references that allowed Elio and Oliver's love to exist.
After that, we will carefully examine the cinematography, music, mise-en-scène, and symbolism of "Call Me by Your Name," and move on to elements outside the work.
From the familiar name Timothée Chalamet to the welcome name James Ivory, to the perhaps unfamiliar name Luchino Visconti.
Many names accompany the journey.
